Ultra Translucent Zirconia vs Emas what is the best option for anterior teeth?

Hello,Yes your dentist is correct about zirconia for the posterior teeth but I would place Emax on your front teeth as the esthetics are better..than even translucent Zirconia..So much is involved with doingfull mouth rehab as you are looking at doing..Your bite is so important to  get right with this undertaking.Also I would ask if veneers could be placed on anterior teeth which would be more conservative treatment and thus less injurious to your teeth..Good luck and thanks for asking.

The zirconia is an excellent material to work the posterior zones due to its capacity to receive forces, however for the anterior area emax is a highly esthetic material and resistant to the loads that are exerted in that area.regards

Hi:I would tend to agree with your dentist.  However, the aesthetics of the material is very much dependent on the laboratory technician.  Master technicians tend to make any material very aesthetic.Best,Dr. Maddahi
