I just had my temporary crown put on 3 days ago and I wAs wondering when I could drink
Answer: Go enjoy a beer! Typically, food and drink are avoided while the tooth is still numb or for a minimum of 30 minutes after gluing of the temporary crown. After that period of time drinking a beer should be fine!Until your permanent crown is in place, you should avoid sticky desserts or candy, including caramels, jelly beans, taffy, toffee etc., as they could pull the temporary crown off your tooth. Avoid chewing gum for the same reason.

Answer: Waiting time to Drink after a Temporary is Cemented If you are numb, you should wait until the numbness wears off. Otherwise, wait about an hour. As others have said stay away from very sticky things and extremely hard things (ice cubes) that might wreck or pull of your temporary. Be very careful flossing also - pull the floss out to the side, rather than back up and you should be fine.
