I'm 4 foot 11 inches 100 pounds looking to get 400cc implants. Would that look too big or too small? (Photo)

Thanks for your question! Certainly there are a lot of variables to breast & implant size: your height, weight, how much breast tissue that you currently have, and what size that you want to be. In my experience of doing thousands of breast augmentation surgeries, I've really found silicone insert sizers to be very helpful for what size you want to achieve. That being said, I'll bet that you could do Inspira SRF gel 415 or 450cc implants pretty easily. 

Because you are 4' 11" tall, I believe that 400 cc implants would be bigger that your best option.  While your breasts themselves might look good, you would be somewhat top heavy and you would lose some hourglass curves.  350 cc seems like a better option to me, but it is subjective and you will need to decide for yourself. Hello, a full breast assessment is required in order to provide advice about implant sizing.  It's impossible to know which of these implants is more appropriate only knowing your bra size.  If you're worried about your current implant volume I'd suggest speaking to your PS or get another opinion in person.

Breast implant measurements depend of the shape/profile of the implants. Without examining you, noone can be sure. But from the photo submitted, a surgeon should be able to safely, easily implant 400 cc implants, likely high profile silicone,  because you have a nice narrow torso. 

 not a huge difference. although you are short, clearly from the picture you have some curves and could benefit from making the "top match the bottom". Do not get set on the cc, for sure not 350 vs 400, that is not a big difference, If you had a 400cc placed and you felt too big, a 350 wouldn't change that feeling and vise versa. Speak with your surgeon about desired volume and the "look" you want, then you can have a better discussion about what implant style will fit on your chest based upon your dimensions.

It is important to discuss the base width of your breasts with your surgeon. Knowing that is important in terms of matching the proper width implant to the patient's anatomy. There is some wiggle room there based on other factors but the discussion should start with the width of your breasts.

I would suggest using 3D photo imaging to see exactly what you will look like with each implant size.  This will help you see the subtle differences between these implants and help you choose the perfect size.

Unfortunately, what you may desire for an implant size and what will actually fit, are 2 entirely different issues.   Sizing of implants necessarily includes consideration of chest width, skin envelope, chest profile, implant profile and short and long term goals.  Those factors don't always align with one's personal preference.Good luck!In good health,Ellen Mahony, MD

As a petite woman, you have to be careful that the implant is not too wide for your breasts. As long as the 400cc implant is extra high profile, it will have the narrowest base width possible and have the most projection. Good luck!
