I had a closed rhinoplasty in 2021 and was very happy with the results, however, I had a lot of scar tissue that blocked my breathing. We did several rounds of steroids shots with no success so in 2023 the doctor went back in to remove the scar tissue. When I woke up from surgery, I was shocked to see a stitch in the corner of my nostril. Once that healed up, I was left with a notch and a scar on my soft triangle. In 2024 I went back to the doctor as I was very unsatisfied with how the notch was in my nose. Under local numbing the doctor did some manipulating inside my nose to help improve the notch on the outside but the notch itself was never cut or stitched again after 2023. This improved the notch some but I’m still very unhappy and self conscious of how my nose is left. What can be done to fix this - laser, micro needling, or filler? Would a revision rhinoplasty with a different doctor help?
