Looking into procedures to reduce/soften my chin shape. In mid 40's and not sure if late to do. Somthing I've been insecure about for a long time. Would this be the best procedure to consider? I also have teeth crowding and a narrow palate so Wondered if jaw surgery could also be an option.

Yes, we can make a chin implant of any size. It is easy to contour an implant the way you may wish. We do a lot of jaw and chin surgery. It should be fine to adjust with an implant over a prior genioplasty.
Either a sliding genioplasty or a chin implant will improve your facial balance. The lack of chin projection gives the appearance of a short lower face. By giving the chin more projection, the lower facial balance is improved.
Based on these photos you seem to be a candidate for conservative rhinoplasty mostly involving tip area. However, set of better profile photos is needed to asses whether genioplasty would further balance your profile.
