What is the best approach to shrink a nose with rather small nostrils?
My nostrils are currently 6 x 9 mm (horizontal width x vertical length), nose width from outermost point of alar wing to the other is 3.3cm, but I have a narrow face so I wish to slim it by a conservative 2mm. I will for sure do medial crura footplate resection (reduce by approx 2mm) and alar rim/ bulky nostril edges defatting (hopefully reduce thickness by 1mm), which I heard will open up the nostrils. But apart from that Im not quite sure what could be done. I have minimal flare, I'm not sure if standrad sill excision could be done after doing the above to open up nostrils, I have also heard tip projection, bone sutures (which I worry might snap over time though), v y flap advancements etc., to acheive a 2mm size reduction what would you say is th best approach? I also desires a smoother less obvious nose crease such that it can blend more seamlessly into my face and not "bulge out" or is over prominent (not bridge height, just the transitions) currently
