I've had perlane and Juvederm ultra fillers in my lips for 9 months.I tried a new clinic and juvederm ultra plus 1st time and went in on 10/5. The NP didn't use the same injection style as my usual person. She filled my top lip ok. On the bottom I want the pout to be more in the middle so she massaged the gel trying to move it to the middle from both sides then a bruise formed right away. it looked horrible right away. She said the filler flipped when she massaged it. she dissolved some of it.

It is normal to have some swelling after lip injections. I recommend massaging the area a few times a day. Swelling should subside after two weeks. If then you are still unhappy you can have it dissolved with hyaluronidase.
Swelling can last up to two weeks. If after two weeks you are still experiencing lumps then it is probably filler. I recommend having this corrected with hyaluronidase.
I encourage you to give it more time. It could still be swelling, but it is too early to tell. If after two weeks it hasn't improved return to your injector for an evaluation. Hyaluronidase can be injected to dissolve the product if necessary.
