This question can't adequately be answered without seeing photos of your nose, but the answer is likely yes. There is an important dynamic between the position of the tip, the nostril margins (alar rims) and the columella (the part below the tip that attaches to the lip) that creates the proper aesthetic proportions for a nose that is pleasing in appearance.
