Vacation 4 weeks after lipo on abs and flanks?

I am getting lipo done on my abs and flanks on 3/1 and plan to take a family trip to Mexico 4 weeks later. Will I be ok to go or will I still have compression garments on? I would hate to be in 85 degree weather miserableness.

Thank you for your question. Examination in person is the only way to determine whether you'd benefit from liposuction. It doesn't appear that you have much fat, however. Speak with your surgeon about your concerns. Combining liposuction with a breast lift/reduction is common.

You should always get liposuctions under tumescent local with or without a little iv sedation. Never do general if you can help it. Under local you are awake, comfortable  and able to turn and stand up during the procedure so the doc can really fine tune you the best.  It is so much safer as well.
