where my hip joints are, they look fine when just standing still. However they look unsightly when wearing a swimsuit and walking along the beach etc. I feel very concious of them. Answer: Bottom sides depression Dear Sue, It would have been very helpful to see your pictures. If I understand you correctly, this is quite common condition. There are 2 ways to improve on your situation : 1. Fat injection, however, that does not last beyond 6 - 12 months as I have noticed in my surgery center on many patients who came for butt implants after they had disappointing fat injection to the butts by other surgeons.Think about it, if large amounts of fat injection would have been consistent and reliable, breast implants would have disappeared from the market... 2. Butt implants. They do not disappear, however they have to be wide enough and be placed lateraly enough to fill up the sides depressions. Consult with board certified plastic surgeons who have lots of experience with butt implants surgery. Check their before and after pictures to make sure that they will be able to deliver your need, because there are different implants shapes and sizes and different surgical techniques. Modern liposuction greatly involves fat transfer, as we surgeons have noticed it is an excellent natural filler, hence liposculpture tech niches where we take fat from where there's an excess and fill in wherever it's needed. I'm pretty sure you will get a wonderful result with this technic, provided you have enough fat to harvest. I would have to see some pictures of yourself in order to asses if this treatment option is right for you.

If you carry a sufficient amount of fat on your body that can be harvested from other sites, such as the abdomen, flanks, inner thighs, then you may be a candidate for a fat grafting. Targeted areas are liposuction and the collected fat is reinjected in the desired area. If you do not have enough fat, then we recommend a buttock augmentation with silicone implants. Answer: Bottom side depression The best treatment is liposculpting...that means liposuction with fat transfer.This is the safest way to correct the deformity you are talking off.Permanent fillers can also be used but we require a large volume hence its better to just use fat from your own body.Its a day care procedure and you can go home the very same day.
