I am 5’2.5”, 121lbs, 34A/32B (possibly smaller), petite, and athletic. Also, I’m aware of the defect of my left pectoralis muscle attachment at the sternum (see photo #5); will this cause asymmetrical breasts or affect how implants will appear? Which type & approx. size implants will I need to achieve the “wish” photos also attached in this post? I am interested in ideal implants. Thank you!
Answer: Ideal Implant Good day! The Ideal Implant™ was recently FDA approved and is now being offered at our facility, Pacific Center for Plastic Surgery Newport Beach. Some women are not comfortable having silicone implants in their body and that was one of the reasons why the Ideal Implant was created. This implant gives a more natural feeling than traditional saline implants on the market. The unique structure of the Ideal Implant allows for a similar look and feel as silicone with the safety of saline. Find a board-certified plastic surgeon that has already performed procedure with this implant and discuss realistic goals and expectations. #RealSelf100

Answer: Augmentation options Based on your photos I suspect you will need a moderate plus profile implant. You might even get away with just a moderate profile. Sizers can be used at the time of surgery and your surgeon can then make the final decision. These profiles will be a little wider and be better to get you some cleavage without going too large.

Answer: Widely Spaced Breasts While you do have breasts and a pec muscle anatomy that make cleavage harder to achieve, selecting an implant that controls your breast base and makes it a bit wider, and carefully creating a pocket that allows for maximum cleavage can go a long way to getting you the fullness in the middle you desire.

Answer: Ideal breast implants Thanks for your question. Yes, the IDEAL Implants are a wonderful choice for women seeking breast augmentation. Your normal anatomy tends to have a little flattening toward the inner-lower aspect and that will likely persist to some degree after the surgery. However, I do think you could have a very nice improvement, including some degree of cleavage. I'd imagine you'd be in the 325-350cc range to increase by about 2 to 2.5 cup sizes. I'd recommend visiting in person with a PS near you. Best wishes

Answer: What #breastimplants will help me achieve desired cleavage? Your chest wall anatomy, particularly the takeoff of your inframammary folds, makes it hard to predict a narrow cleavage result. Your breastbone width and muscular frame may limit how close together the pockets can be made, but if you select moderate plus (rather than high) profile implants that have a slightly wider base width for the same volume, you are likely to be able to get the base width filled out better. The actual size of the implants is determined by a combination of wish photos, sizing kits and simulation software to show you prospective results on a 3D model of your breasts. This helps take guesswork out and gives a more realistic, visual description of the cleavage and shape potential than words alone.
