Areola Lightening

Areolas respond to the female hormones in our body.  With pregnancy, women's areolas become darker and fade after childbirth or after finishing breastfeeding.  Noticing that your areolas are getting lighter at your age is likely related to approaching menopause or actually being in menopause.  Nothing to worry about!
