You are an excellent candidate for a newtechnique called The Mini Ultimate Breast LiftTM. Using only a circumareola incision it ispossible to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevatethem higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Aligning the areola and breast tissue overthe bony prominence of the chest wall maximizes anterior projection without theuse of implants. This will give you theperky youthful look you desire while avoiding the ugly vertical scars of thetraditional technique, maintain nipple sensation and the ability to breastfeed.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
The breast lift is probably your best option, but as you pint out, there are scars involved. Only you can decide if the scar are a worthwhile trade off for having perkier breasts.
Based on the photos, you will need a breast lift or what we call a mastopexy with or without breast augmentation depending on the look you are interested in. Adding an implant will give you some extra superior fullness. Good luck!
Thank you for the picture.I definitely believe that with out a breast lift, the outcome might not be as pleased. This is completely necessary in order to obtain a perkier look. There's a few options to treat keloid scarring after surgery, talk to you PS.Good luck.Dr. Campos
Dear angiecxo77,I agree with you that a breast lift could be a wonderful option to shape your breasts. The chance of scarring is real and should be considered but there are ways to minimize scarring both in the operating room and afterwards. Your plastic surgeon is capable of taking care of the operating room part. Less tension, better suture and suturing, careful handling of tissues all lead to a better incision appearance. Afterwards, you may want to entertain the idea of using a product called Embrace. Its placed by your plastic surgeon each week for 8 weeks to diminish the appearance of the incision. Below is a before and after photo of a breast lift patient of mine that has a similar skin type and breast shape. All the best,Dr. Remus Repta
Thanks so much for your question. Based on your photo, the best option for you to have a perkier look would be to have a full mastopexy. In my experience patients sometimes feel smaller than when they started after a full lift. There isn't much volume removed with a lift but your breast position changes enough that you don't fit in a bra the same way. You may want to consider a small implant to maintain the same volume you presently have at the completion of the procedure. Your surgeon should be able to guide you through the proceeas so you are well informed and you can make a decision appropriate to your body and your overall goals.
There are two options - implants and lifting. Implants alone would look terrible and you already have plenty of breast tissue. That only leaves a lift and you have to weigh the scar problem against the new look. Remember bras will give you a good look without scars and you save a few thousand$$$.
After six weeks you should be in good shape and well enough to carry your gear, however like all strenuous activity you will be exercising sore chest muscle and gradual return is the best plan. Safe yes, sore maybe, so go with goal of a shorter distance until you are confident you can get out...
Thank you for your photos. Your issue is a large amount of skin and not enough volume of breast tissue to fill it. One solution would be a breast lift, which would remove only some of the skin but keep all the volume. Putting the same amount of volume inside a smaller envelope...
There is no way to guarantee a particular bra size. Bra sizing varies greatly between bra manufacturers and a C in one bra will be a D in another. What matters more than the assigned bra size is the way the implant looks on you. The best option for your body and aesthetic goals can be determined...
