I want to go from 34b to 34d cup size. I don't want it to look like implants sticking out, I want them to look as natural as possible. What's better, tear drop implants or gummy?
Answer: How to keep #breastimplants from "sticking out" Hi tweety90210. Your pictures suggest that you would benefit from a round, smooth, extra high profile, highly cohesive gel/gummy implant placed under your pectoralis major muscle. During your consultation, measurements will be taken to help estimate the volume, but it likely should be 300-400cc. The round shape maximizes cleavage and removes worry about rotation, extra high profile will help lift/support your right breast (looks slightly looser than left) with the narrowest diameter (limits "side boob"). The gummy is the highest quality gel implant that provides good tissue support and placing under the muscle will keep the implant from "sticking out". Good luck with your consultation!-Dr. Doolabh

Answer: 34B to 34D, realistic? Hi there, thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible but, there is a difference between your breasts. That's why; different implants should be chosen for both sides and, an uplift is necessary for your right areola.

Answer: Your anatomy and your goals Depending on the individual anatomy and desired results, estimations and measurements should be made for each patient individually after a detailed mutual conversation. The elements that form up the breast shape and size and the overall frame can be different in each person. Different sized implants on each side can help improve the asymmetry. It will be best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in cosmetic breast surgery in person and discuss your goals and options after a physical examination.

Answer: Implants Going up two cups in size is very reasonable. I prefer the smooth round nongummy implants for augmentation. The gummy implants are a firmer feel. The textured shaped implants have more long term potential problems, especially with rotation and late seroma or fluid build up if the implant tears away from your tissue.

Answer: 34B to 34D, realistic? With your small frame, going from a B to a D will look augmented. Tear drop implants can give a slightly more natural look as they provide less fullness at the upper portion of the breast. (As an aside, tear drop implants are gummy - gummy refers to the current generation of silicone implants.) As always, be sure to research the surgeon doing your procedure to increase the chances of a favorable result.
