I’m 22 yo and have quite gapped teeth which have been getting me down a little lately and am now considering porcelain veneers approx. Four on the top four front teeth and six on the front six bottom teeth (or the other way around) and the rest whitened. I’ve enquired regarding Invisalign but I was told that after paying £3200 for Invisalign there may still be gaps and I would need composite bonding at £100 p/tooth. I was hoping to get Veneers abroad (Turkey). Any help would be great.

Answer: 22 year old male, should I get porcelain veneers?
Hi:Light inflammation is due to temporary acrylic material, however any infection and heavy inflamation may be due to ill fitting temporaries. Please post photo for more accurate advice.Best,Dr. Maddahi
It sounds like your veneers have changed your bite. Call the doctors office and ask to be seen to see if you may need them to adjust how the teeth fit together. This can happen while you are numb and can not feel if the bite is correct. The adjustment is very simple to do.
Visit with your dentist. Discuss what you are feeling. They may be able to be thinned out and adjusted. They may be bulky to fill in gaps, cover up a bad defect or dark color so thinning may not be an option.
