What Is Raised Lump Near the Scar(areola) That is About the Size of a BB &hard?

The appearance of a lump near a mastopexy scar could represent i) a suture abscess; ii) folliculitis; iii) fat necrosis or iv) benign or malignant breast mass.  Since a year has passed since your surgery, it's unlikely to be a stitch abscess, which is a "foreign body" response to the sutures.  Folliculitis can occur when a hair follicle cannot erupt through the scar tissue and gets inflammed.  The breast is composed of fat, glandular tissue and skin and during the course of a breast lift, occasionally some fat looses its blood supply and becomes a firm nodule.  It may not be immediately apparent post-op however as the swelling recedes "knots" may be apparent.  Dont delay. Make an appointment with your PS for evaluation.  Don't manipulate the area.  Your work up may include either a mammogram and/or and ultrasound.  Depending on the results, biopsy or expectant management will be recommended.  Good luck.

Breasts should not be lumpy... and if you have a new mass, please see your surgeon or some other local doctor who can evaluate you and help you through this process. 

Without an exam, it is impossible to say what the raised lump represents.  Best to be examined in person.

 The “raised lump” that you have found may or may not be related to your previous breast surgery. Therefore, it will be in your best interest to seek in-person consultation with your family doctor  have/or plastic surgeon in the near future.

Any lump in the breast needs to be investigated. The vast majority can easily be explained, but all need to be investigated to be sure it is not something serious.

This is not normal but no cause for alarm.  It is most likely an inclusion cyst associated with a stitch.  Very common.  I would defiitely take it out to confirm the diagnosis.  You need to be absolutely sure.
