My DD is 11 years old and her bottom teeth are crooked. So I’m planning to take her to our family dentist Dr. Hagi in Thornhill for getting her invisalign braces. One of my friends told me metal braces will work better than invisalign. Is that true? Is she too young to get invisalign braces?

You can easily trim a sharp edge off your aligner, and I suggest that you trim it with a fine curved scissor or a nail clipper, not a file. A file tends to leave a rough edge and you're much better off with a clean cut. By the way; just a few millimeters, not too much, will do it....
