I lost my retainer after wearing it for 5 months. Is this safe?

I am supposed to wear the retainer for 1 year. But somehow i've lost it. It has been 5 months since i open up my bracess. Unfortunately im in the middle of final exam. Does it safe for me not to wear them?

Without seeing photos of your teeth biting, it is impossible to say. However, if you are able to be treated with Invisalign. a chin implant is strongly suggested at treatments end.

If your new refinement has "x" # of attachments on the first aligner, then your teeth must have the same # to function properly. I dont know if your provider was aware, or not. My strong feeling is that you should be treated by an orthodontist, rather then a generalist, and preferably a premiere...

The problems with invisalign and standard orthodontics is relapse.  Almost 100% of adult cases will relapse without retention.The reason for relapse is that the teeth and/or  jaws are in an unstable relation.  The proper time to wear retention varies and can be at your discretion...
