Im on my 3rd prp hair treatment and its been 4 months but im still shedding like everyday. My prp doctor told me i should stop shedding after the first treatment but it never stopped. I slowly started to see some hair growing but the shedding isnt stopping. Why am i still shedding after going through 3 treatments? I still have to go through the 4th one.
I have hairfall issue and i have using minoxidil for 2 yrs and now i have stopped it for past 6 months and losing more hair.now should i again use minoxidil for lifetime to maintain those hair or should i use prp treatment
Im looking to have prp on my eyebrows for hair regrowth after stress, covid TE and now resolved SD Ive seen reference to risk of shock loss or hair shedding in prp if too much is injected in any one site. One very good consultant indicated he would inject blebs under the surface at follicle depth - if this is essentially a bubble of the plasma could this represent an increased risk of fall? He seemed to think the issue was more about interval length between treatments.
I've used minoxidil and finasteride with good results. If I get regular PRP treatments can I quit both minoxidil and finasteride? Based on empirical data and the law of averages what should one expect? From everything I've read using all three PRP, minoxidil and finasteride yields the best results but I'd like to know what to expect from PRP only. Thank you.
I started losing hair from eyebrows in Oct. All bloods normal, diagnosis from 2 dermatologists of stress TE compounded with Seborrheaic dermatitis (treating, now v mild.) As well as the suggested PRP I am considering LDN - there are suggestions it can help some alopecia but also potential uses for immunity generally and this is often implicated in hair loss of multi kinds. BUT I have also found patient reports of hair LOSS after starting LDN. How high a risk is it Ldn could make loss worse?
I have read that it does but I have been told by a surgeon and registered nurse that it doesn't. They may have been referring to a lesser numbing agent that Lidocaine. The procedure is very painful and I have a high tolerance to pain. Will sing Lidocaine reduce the effectiveness? Also hat is best way to remove it before procedure? Should I just use rubbing alcohol and get the most out that I can?
Hi. I am very happy with the results I got from a Hairtransplant in 2018. I remember that straight after the HT the doctor did a PRP treatment. I am noticing that I loose around 6-10 hairs from the top of my head every time I wash the hair (2-3 times per week). Is it anything I can do to maintain the results? Will PRP help or will the hairs not benefit significantly? I remember the doctor said he injected PRP because it was good for newly transplanted hairs. Im using Finasteride. Kind regards
Hello, I've been hearing some conflicting answers, and would like to know if its safe to the transplanted hair follicles to have a microneedling/dermaroll with PRP/stem cell treatment done at a DRs office? Im worried about transplanted follicle damage. The transplant helped hair density, but it still looks thin and I'd like more improvement. I dont live near my surgeon anymore. Should only needle injection be used with PRP instead of a dermaroller? Appreciate your advice!
