Painful but worth it - pleased with initial miraDry results I got Miradry when Naficy was offering a special discount for it and I highly recommend it. I suffer from hyperhidrosis and finally decided to try MIradry vs Botox. I'd previously tried clinical strength antiperspirants and Qbrexa, but they either didn't work or had side effects I couldn't deal with.
Scheduling my procedure was quick and I was surprised at how quickly I could be seen. I think I purchased the procedure on a Wednesday and got an appointment for the following Tuesday.
I did not experience any pain or discomfort during the procedure itself, but the topical anesthesia was mildly uncomfortable (probably a 1-2/10 on the pain scale). I was nervous, but the staff members were great at answering all my questions (and I had a lot) and keeping the conversation going to occupy me.
The first day after the lidocaine wore off was extremely painful (maybe a 7/10), even with icing diclofenac, and Tylenol. I had some trouble falling asleep. I continued to ice the second day and the pain greatly improved that day, to the point where I stopped taking painkillers by the second night. I continued to have swelling, numbness, and pain (.5-1/10) the following days, but nothing too crazy or worrying.
I'm currently six days post op and pleased with the initial results. The solution they injected hasn't given me any bumps and the pain is almost completely gone. I highly recommend Miradry, despite the pain I experienced the first day.
I've heard that Miradry also destroys hair follicles, but these results can take up to 3 months to see - also looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
See Christine Woods - she is very skilled as an injector Christine is amazing at her craft. She is very skilled as an injector and has shown me that little tweaks can make the biggest difference! I've received both botox and filler from her multiple times and loved the results. I will follow her anywhere she goes.

Lower Bleph W/ Fat Graft Perfect Solution for This Guy Some self-made before and after pictures. Nothing fancy, just iPhone photos. Doctor Naficy says the look will continue to improve over the next 6-8 moths as the stems cells in the fat graft take time to work their magic. Honestly, if this was all I got from it, I'd be content. It's a big improvement.
Exceeds Expectations I have gone to Naficy for many years and have had a variety of services. Their professionalism exceeds expectations and I have complete confidence in their ability to safely and beautifully transform me. :) Erin has done my BOTOX and filler injections for years. I trust her 100% and she always knows exactly what will give me the best, natural looking results. I will never go anywhere else. Naficy is is 10 in my book!
Botox for Forehead Worth It, Botox/Dysport For Brow Asymmetry -- NOT Worth It I have asymmetrical eyebrows, with one eyebrow 4mm lower than the other. The first nurse injector at Naficy Rejuvenation Center who did this procedure for me (Lisa) placed 1 unit of botox under that brow (along with 1 at each temple and 17 through the corrugators and procerus) and it lifted slightly and the result was just great.
Four months later I went to another clinic because they were having a special on Dysport. The nurse said 1 unit (which would be 3 Dysport) would be too little, even though I had had a good experience with that low dose before. She put in the equivalent of 3 units Botox -- 9 of Dysport. Well, my droopy eyebrow dropped and locked. It looked AWFUL. I didn't have much of a crease in that eye in the fist place and it was gone, with my upper eyelid bulging over my eyelashes. The other side, which was already higher, then created a Spock look. I went back for correction and she seemed utterly baffled as to why it had happened. She decided to put 2 more units of Botox in the same place to raise it, but I knew it wouldn't work. A neurotoxin is a neurotoxin and she clearly hit the wrong nerve or muscle. I just had to live with it for months.
I called to make another appointment six months later at Naficy's. The nurse injector had gone on maternity leave. Yvette also didn't like the idea of just 1 unit under the droopy brow and used 3. Well, the same thing happened. That brow just dropped even more and felt extremely heavy, and the other side spocked. Thankfully, Yvette knew how to fix the spock, by placing a unit at the temple (why didn't the previous clinic do that?!). She said she wanted to put more on the droopy side and I emphatically declined.
Yvette did one more treatment for me trying to lift the brow, this time using the units at the temple which prevented the spock, but yep, that lower lid just dropped all the more again, feeling horribly heavy.
Next time I saw Yvette I asked her to please just do the middle! And got the results I wanted, letting the lower brow just be itself.
I'm guessing that the 1 unit Lisa used just stayed in place and did it's job, and the higher number of units diffused up into the frontalis, and dropped the brow. A little annoying no one could believe me that 1 unit worked!
Kybella I had Kybella injections (2 vials x 1) two months ago in order to minimize a subtle double chin. I am 42 years old, but have had a fatty deposit under my chin since my teens, no matter how thin I was (my BMI is currently 24, which is normal). Lorin did an outstanding job in terms of meeting with me, making sure I was a good candidate, & reviewing the procedure & result expectations! She is very personable & professional & made me feel comfortable during procedure! The injections were minimally uncomfortable & well tolerated. The swelling under chin was present for about 2 weeks, but I was pain free & able to resume my exercise regimen the following day! So far, I do notice improvement, with a more defined jawline & less fat in the area. I am scheduled for reassessment in 2 weeks (about 6 weeks after injections). I highly recommend Dr. Naficy’s office & Lorin specifically to address double chin concerns/possible Kybella injections!
Overall clinical expertise is outstanding! I am very happy with my results I have had 2 CoolSculpting sessions so far over the past couple of months (to target lower abdomen & upper arms). I am very happy with the results so far (expecting final results over the next few months)! I am a runner & have maintained my workouts/mileage during this time. There was no downtime after the procedure, I exercised the following day with no discomfort. My clothes are already fitting more loosely & the targeted areas appear more toned! Louise was beyond amazing at preparing me & reviewing what to expect regarding procedure & results! Louise is fun, personable, & well skilled at what she does; the procedure seemed to fly by comfortably! I would highly recommend Dr. Naficy’s office & Louise for CoolSculpting!
Updated on 24 Apr 2019:
I am very happy with my results! I had TWO CoolSculpting sessions to target my lower abdomen. The 1st session was on 10/4/2018, the 2nd was on 11/12/2018. My follow up photos were taken in April 2019! I have noticed significant improvement (reduced fatty area) in the appearance of my lower abdomen. Also, I have lost 1.5 inches from my lower abdominal/hip measurement. My skirts & pants are now noticeably looser. Left side photo is before, right side photo is after the 2 CoolSculpting sessions! I highly recommend consulting & working with Louise from Dr. Naficy’s clinic! She is an outstanding & knowledgeable clinician & fun to work with! (On same date as the after photos were taken, I had another session to again target abdomen & this time upper arms. Will post update in July, when final results may be appreciated).
Updated on 15 Aug 2019:
My goal was to reduce overall size & fatty volume of my upper arms (which has become more obvious over the past 10 years)! I have been exercising regularly (cardio workouts/running 5-6 days a week + strength training targeting core & arms 3 times a week), & have been adjusting to a healthier diet over the past several years, but my upper arm appearance had always remained the same! I saw Louise at Dr. Sam Naficy's Clinic for CoolSculpting of my upper arms (2 visits total, 2 sessions per arm, over a 6 month timeframe). Louise clearly explained the procedure & what to expect in terms of results! The procedure was comfortable & I had no down time (I ran 8 miles the following day)! Louise is kind & funny & lovely to work with! Her knowledge about CoolSculpting & overall clinical expertise is outstanding! I am VERY HAPPY with my results (see before & after photos; L side is baseline, R side 6 months after)! My arms are noticeably smaller & appear more toned! I now feel more confident wearing sleeveless shirts & dresses! I also feel more motivated to continue my workouts & healthy lifestyle, as I am FINALLY able to see results! I highly recommend consulting (& working with) Louise at Dr. Sam Naficy's Clinic if you are considering CoolSculpting!
