Painful but Worth It

WORTH IT
I got Miradry when Naficy was offering a special discount for it and I highly recommend it. I suffer from hyperhidrosis and finally decided to try MIradry vs Botox. I'd previously tried clinical strength antiperspirants and Qbrexa, but they either didn't work or had side effects I couldn't deal with.
Scheduling my procedure was quick and I was surprised at how quickly I could be seen. I think I purchased the procedure on a Wednesday and got an appointment for the following Tuesday.
I did not experience any pain or discomfort during the procedure itself, but the topical anesthesia was mildly uncomfortable (probably a 1-2/10 on the pain scale). I was nervous, but the staff members were great at answering all my questions (and I had a lot) and keeping the conversation going to occupy me.
The first day after the lidocaine wore off was extremely painful (maybe a 7/10), even with icing diclofenac, and Tylenol. I had some trouble falling asleep. I continued to ice the second day and the pain greatly improved that day, to the point where I stopped taking painkillers by the second night. I continued to have swelling, numbness, and pain (.5-1/10) the following days, but nothing too crazy or worrying.
I'm currently six days post op and pleased with the initial results. The solution they injected hasn't given me any bumps and the pain is almost completely gone. I highly recommend Miradry, despite the pain I experienced the first day.
I've heard that Miradry also destroys hair follicles, but these results can take up to 3 months to see - also looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

I still have two little bumps from the liquid they injected, but it’s no longer uncomfortable to put deodorant on
I feel like the procedure also damaged many hair follicles, as I haven’t felt the need to wax my armpits in the last two weeks
The skin in the treatment area still feels a little different - like I’m touching it through a layer of plastic - but I’m not worried about that and assume it will go away
Overall very happy with the results - I don’t notice swearing or odor in my armpits

Thanks for sharing the full picture of your experience - and it's good to hear the pain has been easing, I hope you see great final results.
