Dr. Mosher takes pride in making time to communicate clearly with patients, help them understand their options, and guide them through the entire process, to ensure that their expectations align with their result. “We ensure that the advice we give patients is something they can rely upon and will always be offered with their best interests in mind,” he says. As a volunteer with Project H.A.N.D.S., Dr. Mosher has traveled to Guatemala to provide plastic and reconstructive surgeries to impoverished children and adults in need. Whoever and wherever his patients are, he aims to give them results that lead to satisfaction and self-confidence.

What a Wonderful Human Dr. Lo Is!!!!!

I had received some poor treatment from a ‘doctor’ at a different Medspa a few months ago and when I tried to raised concerns regarding unexpected and horrible results of said treatment, I was gaslit and disregarded. I felt desperate for help and very unsure of what to do. I spent a while searching for some S to help me and the same name kept popping up - Dr. Lo of YES medspa in Langley. ...

I recently got a treatment done by Natalie at YesMed spa in Langley. She was very nice and did a great job at explaining the procedure and every question that was brought up had an answer. The facility itself was very clean and put together, very comfortable waiting area, and great staff.

Q: Blepharoplasty Transconjunctival vs Skin Pinch/Incision? (photos)
Answered by Dr. MosherJuly 20, 2023

A: There are many issues influencing the best approach to your concerns that requires a in-person consultation. The need for skin tightening with a pinch or laser debatable. Fractional laser can improve the skin quality and brightness. The contours require the surgical manipulation of the fat layer. Of course the skin management could also be done under local anesthetic as a secondary procedure if necessary.

Q: Which is more effective and what system is better Smartlipo or SAFElipo?
Answered by Dr. MosherJuly 20, 2023

A: SAFElipo is a series of steps used to improve liposuction efficiency and reduce the risks of surface irregularities. This is an acronym (S:separate the fat, A: aspirate the fat: FE: Equilibrate the fat left behind) for the steps and technique. No technology or some form of power assisted liposuction is employed. Experienced Plastic surgeons have been using these steps for years but now it has become popularized. In most instances this will achieve optimal and equivalent results to other forms of liposuction. SmartLipo is a technology brand that uses laser assisted fat break down and laser assisted heating of the treatment area. Studies have shown that this reduces post operative soreness and bruising and can achieve better skin shrinkage when done using strict parameters. However, the final clinical results are on average not better. Have consultations until you feel that you can trust the advice and experience of your surgeon.

Q: Weight loss before BFT? Is it better to lose excess pandemic weight gain before breast fat transfer? (photos)
Answered by Dr. MosherApril 25, 2023

A: In general, patients considering body contouring surgery (including fat transfer) should be near their goal weight and with a routine that will help them to sustain this weight. Fat taken from the torso and transferred to the breast to enhance your breast shape will loose effect with weight loss after surgery. Fortunately, you are close to your goals already. Good luck.

Q: Is it possible to go from an A Cup to D cup with breast fat transfer?
Answered by Dr. MosherApril 25, 2023

A: Successful fat transfer anywhere in the body is dependent upon many factors. When too much fat is placed, more fat dies and becomes scar. In my practice, we are most successful when less than 200 cc's are transferred to each breast. Studies have demonstrated that only 50-60% of this volume remains long term. There are some doctors who claim that they can successfully transfer large volumes of fat to the breast. Technique, experience and patient factors can influence the success of this procedure. Pre-expanding the breast tissues, essentially conditioning the breast to receive more fat graft is possible but the main device known as BRAVA has been pulled from the market to permit further study on its safety. Depending upon your visual goals for augmentation and on your tissues, you can be provided the best advice by a Plastic Surgeon who performs this procedure regularly. Best regards,

Q: Would a fat transfer be the best option for large breasts with low volume? (Photos)
Answered by Dr. MosherApril 25, 2023

A: When the breasts deflate and overhang the fold, augmentation with fat or an implant alone will not restore a youthful shape and position. You appear to still have a lot of breast volume within a breast skin envelope that has stretched. A breast lift that repositions your breast higher appears to be the best solution. Fat grafting may or may not be a useful adjunct to the procedure. Congratulations on your weight loss success.
