I had 10 consultations in 4 different states during the past 5 years. I finally was able to find a doctor/Surgeon that I was/am comfortable with. It is challenging to find a surgeon that is open minded about doing this procedure on a male that is TG. Dr Schuell at Infinini Phoenix Liposuction is exactly what I have been looking for. My dream has become reality. Even though I just had the procedure done on June 10th 2022 I believe that the results are what I hoped to achieve. The day before the procedure I had everything ready in my hotel room since I am from out of state. I made arrangements for a driver to pick me up at the hotel in the morning and take me to the Liposuction Center. After the procedure, the driver picked me up and took me back to my hotel and ensured that I was ok. On arrival at the Lipo Center I was greeted by the staff. Any/all questions or concerns were answered. Payment arrangements were made. All documentation was filled out. After this was all completed the big moment arrived. I was taken back to my room where the procedure was to be done. Vitals were taken. I was given 3 pills to help me relax. There was no IV. I was awake during the procedure. Dr Schuell and his assistant worked well together. We listened to music during the procedure and talked in a social type of setting. I was able to move myself without having someone move me into position during the procedure. The procedure: So, the doctor explained what he was doing from beginning to end. The numbing solution was injected into the areas to be treated. In my case, the inner thighs, and basically lipo 360(Front abdominal, sides/flanks and lower back). The injection of the solution is a little uncomfortable. After the numbing solution takes effect the doctor then uses a cannula to begin suctioning out the fat and solution. I will be honest, there will be some pain but not a lot. Once the lipo areas are done the fat was then put into a machine and reinjected into each breast. Approx 350-400cc was injected into each breast. After this was complete I was assisted with donning the bra and items provided to wear the first 48-72 hours. Next was more guidance and discussion on what I needed to do for the next week. My follow up visit was scheduled for the following Friday(tomorrow). Photos were taken both before and after the procedure. That is it in a nutshell. More info will follow with more updates.
let me start off WOW, my whole experience was seamless. I'm 5'0, 115 lbs and was really hesitant whether i had enough fat. I requested a quote and sent my photos over, I was originally going to have a virtual consultation and with all the question i had, he requested for me to come in. Seeing Dr. Hall reassured me that he was the one i was going to go with. And honestly, the fact that you're awake sealed the deal for me. I just had my BBL July 16th with Dr. Hall and I don't think this process couldn't have gone any easier. We talked the whole time and it was jut like talking to a friend. He was able to harvest over a liter of fat. Plenty enough that he didn't use the whole thing, a little over 400 CCs in each cheek. After I got home I ate then took nap. When I woke up, I was up and walking round the same day. No joke! When i tell you that this was the easiest procedure, i truly mean it and i couldn't be happier with my results. Dr. Hall and his staff were amazing!!!
Hi girls! I’m a mother of 3 boys! Whew! Lol! I’ve always been petite but after my third child the weight stuck to me like glue! I’m 5’5 and weigh 144lbs currently... could be more. Yikes! I’ve been considering liposuction for a while now but honestly haven’t given a second thought about finding a surgeon until Now. I liked Up Dr. Cortez our of Texas, but my bf asked why would I travel that far with kiddos or the surgery hen three great doctors in my backyard! Hmmm?? He was right. So I started researching cosmetic doctors out of Scottsdale and opted to book my appt. I think in my case Having the BBL is my best option because I have enough fat to give to enhance my hips and butt while getting rid of my stomach. Why not use my fat elsewhere, you know? The thought to even consider this didn’t hit me Hard until I tried on a skin tight dress and realized my curves were not there AT ALL. I met with Dr. Shuell at Infini Cosmetic Associates on 1/24 and based on reviews and pictures I’m moving forward! He seemed very knowledgeable, he explained how I had the perfect build for the hourglass figure and showed me a picture of a young lady who previously had the surgery. For me that is all it took! I scheduled My scheduled my surgery for 2/19 and I can’t wait! I’m excited AND nervous because this is my first surgery EVER but I have to do this or me. I want my confidence BACK! Updated on 4 Feb 2018: I swear I have been having anxiety attacks as my surgery is 16 days away!! I received my paperwork in the mail yesterday and I’m sitting at Sonora Quest to have my lab work done. It’s a lot of ppl in here on a Saturday! Geez! I’m going to be here a while but it’s okay, I don’t have anything else planned. Lol! Afterwards i’m going to drop off my prescriptions to have them filled in advance. I’ve already ordered my post op Supplies from eBay and Amazon, I found a few lists of things on here and I’m adding photos for quick reference. I just have a few more things to grab at Walmart but they’re minor things like pads and Neosporin. I will also add more pictures because the other ones you can barely see my fat lol. Question?? What garment should I order? I see alot on Amazon but I want a good one that will hold me in. I’m having my stomach, lower back, and inner thighs, and booty liposuctioned. What size should I get?? I’m typically a medium but don’t know if I should get a Small. My breasts are a 36C so don’t want it too tight but not lose either.Until my next review later dolls! Updated on 6 Feb 2018: So I had my lab work completed on Saturday (2/3). I haven’t received a call from anyone as of yet. So hopefully the results are stable and I’m good to go. I’ve already filled my prescriptions and paid $150 for all 3 as I don’t have insurance currently. I should be receiving my post op supplies in the next week from eBay and Amazon... I’m now 13 days away and the counting down is real ppl!! I’m adding full body pics now as I haven’t updated them. Oh! I found out I’ve gained weight and I’m at 150lbs vs 144lbs that I was at earlier. I’m considering having my back Liposuctioned instead of my thighs..I’m not liking my back fat at all. ????I will call tomorrow and ask what the difference in price would be. Until next time ladies. ???? Updated on 6 Feb 2018: So I had my lab work completed on Saturday (2/3). I haven’t received a call from anyone as of yet. Updated on 14 Feb 2018: So originally I wanted inner thighs, stomach, and lower back fat for my BBL but after seeing my bra fat I’ve opted for this instead of inner thighs. I called to ask if that could be swapped out for the other and spoke with Shannon in the office. She was very nice and assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem to swap as long as the doctor could get to my fat. Shannon went over my lab work and stated I was all clearedto go! I’m extremely happy and can’t wait! I’m scheduled in 6 days and I’m so ready for this ya’ll. I will post my measurements as soon as I locate my tape to do so lol. I’ve received almost everything that I ordered online except my ted hose stockings. They should be in route soon to me. Overall I’m ready to roll! Until the next time my real self people! :-) Updated on 19 Feb 2018: I had my surgery today, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I’m in pain but it’s tolerable. I will update with pictures tomorrow. Later girlies. Updated on 20 Feb 2018: I’m recovering quite well. I’m swollen but no bruising. It’s extremely difficult to get out of bed and very hard for me to sleep on my stomach. I wanted to share my pics with you all because I’m loving my figure. I will grab back on in a few days and post again. Til next time girls! Updated on 21 Feb 2018: So I’ve made it 3 days Post Op with Dr. Shuell at Infini Cosmetic Associates. I’m so happy with my results so far!! I went in at 7:30 was scheduled at 8. I was nervous BUT ready to get it done! I was called to the back promptly at 7:58a. I took Zanex and 2 other pills to relax me. Then I changed out of everything but my sports bra. I weighed in at 144 lbs, think I pooped out the other 6lbs I thought I still had lol. Anyways my measurements were 26 waist and 32 hips. The doctor came In closer to 9 to start! I was numbed using a needle but it didn’t hurt. Seriously a 3-4 out of 10 scale. After that the fluid went in and suctioning beganed!! I was awake the whole time talking with the doctor and staff members. It tickled getting suctioned so I laughed most of the time. He pulled out 425 cc’s of fat from my stomach alone and then we were on to the lower back and flanks. Altogether he got 1200 cc’s out and 550 cc’s went into both buttocks and hips! Now for a skinny girl who is 5’5 and 144lbs that’s enough needed! Please check my photos or proof hunny! Lol! I was in pain later during the day but manageable. I got dizzy all of 2 times and took zofran once but not since Monday. I’ve been up walking and moving and doing it all alone with help of great friends! Dr. Shuell was AMAZING and he even texted me personally from his phone to see how I was doing and to tell me I did a phenomenal job! Wow! I feel like a superstar without the money. Lol! I’m adding a pic I took yesterday evening, I am loving my booty and can’t wait til the swelling goes down more in my stomach. I’m too geeked and can’t wait for my summer vacation to Jamaica so I can show this body off! Whew!!! Ladies, y’all don’t understand! A mother of 3 beautiful boys and I had to do this for me! I’m sooo happy! Until next time girlies. Updated on 25 Feb 2018: Hey girlies!! I will be 1 week tomorrow but wanted to provide pics of before surgery and now. I’m very pleased and can’t wait til my swelling is completely gone. Patience... lol enjoy the pics ladies! Updated on 7 Mar 2018: So it’s been 2.5 weeks since my procedure. My stomach is almost flat but not quite which is the concerning part. I’m being told my the doctor who performed the surgery that I have an umbilical hernia . I thought I would be fine with it but I’ve been experiencing pain when I bend down the wrong way like something is getting ready to come thru my stomach! So basically my stomach won’t be flat unless I have the procedure performed for that, which he didn’t offer at the facility. My butt has also lost fat that I wanted to have stick around. My swelling is pretty much gone because I was able o wear jeans for the first time yesterday. I love my hips but not my butt... in the jeans I wore there was no difference in how they fit before. I’m very discouraged..I’m having mixed emotions because I wanted a flat stomach without the extra implication of their being something else wrong and i wanted my fat in my azz to stick around. Ive done everything asked by not sitting on it or anything. I still lay on my stomach which I naturally don’t. So I’ve scheduled an appt for tomorrow with my PCP to properly diagnose the hernia and pray like hell that my insurance will cover it. If my insurance will cover it, I want the procedure done immediately. I’ve added two pics for you all to see.. some really encouraging words would be appreciated because I’m feeling like crap. Until the next update ladies.. Updated on 15 Mar 2018: Thank You God!!! No umbilical Hernia detected in the ultrasound!!! My stomach is still going down the only concern I have is the small pudge right around the navel area. Idk if the doctor assumed I had a hernia and stayed away from there but since I don’t and if it doesn’t go all the way down I want that revised. Smh overall I’m extremely happy!!!! Updated on 5 Apr 2018: Sorry I haven’t been on here in a while. The moment you’ve been waiting for my before and after 1 month post pics!!
I've been thinking of doing my lips for quite a while know, I was kind of nervous but I decide to take the plunge! Recently I did my lips at Infini Cosmetic with Dr. William Hall and I am amazed with my results! It was an easy, fast, and clean procedure. It was painless and I did not bruise, I did swell a little, but by the 3rd day it was gone.
So, after several months of considering liposuction (and possibly a fat transfer), I have decided to bite the bullet! I finally narrowed it down and decided to go ahead and book a few consultations. I looked at several before and after photos, and even looked at some real self posts as well, to try and decide on my top surgeons to perform consultations with. I am super excited and nervous at the same time. My consultations are booked for tomorrow and Thursday! Updated on 13 Nov 2014: I just finished up my consultations. I had three scheduled, but by the second consultation I knew who I was going with. (Btw, I'm super excited with my decision!) So I will start out with my first one. The first consultation I went to yesterday was at Sono Bello in Scottsdale. The office staff were okay, not overly friendly. During the consult I met with one of the girls. She was very young, so I asked if she had ever had the surgery. She had not. In the back of my head I was thinking how could this girl be giving me a consultation when she has never had the surgery herself!?! Anyways...she took my weight and height and told me she was calculating my BMI to help figure out the cost. She also took a look at the areas I was unhappy with and rushed me through the consultation and asked for my credit info. She was trying to run my credit and book my surgery right off the bat without me even making a decision! I explained to her that I still had appointments to see a couple other doctors. I never got to meet the doctor, I almost felt like it was just a strip mall consult. This really tuned me off. I just didn't feel like it was for me. My second consultation was at Infini Cosmetic in Scottsdale with Dr. William Hall. When I walked in the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I actually met with the doctor which was a great surprise! He was showed me some pictures and explained the process as well. He then took a look at my areas, he also made some suggestions of what he thought would be best. (Whereas I met with only a young lady at Sono Bello who couldn't point these things out because she wasn't a doctor!) So this really did help me in my decision making process and choosing which areas would most enhance my overall figure. I then met with the patient coordinator and she literally walked me through the entire process step by step. She showed me the areas she had done the surgery on. (Which looked great and I couldn't even see the incision sites!) They spent a lot of time with me and made me feel very comfortable. So I decided to cancel my third consultation because I felt like Dr. Hall is ultimately the best choice for me. Updated on 15 Nov 2014: So here are a couple photos of the areas I am unhappy with. Updated on 18 Nov 2014: I finally booked my surgery today and I just had to put $1000 down to hold my spot, which will be deducted from my total day of surgery. I was quoted out for abdomen, waist/hips, and outer thighs with a fat transfer for a total of $9500. (The addition of the fat transfer is $3000, which makes my lipo surgery only $6500, which I feel is very reasonable.) My surgery date is scheduled for December 11th. Now that I have a date scheduled I feel like it is actually going to happen! Super excited! Updated on 5 Dec 2014: I had my surgery scheduled for December 11th, but I had a family emergency, so I had to delay it a little bit. So I am super bummed out about that. But, I'm sure it will be here sooner than later. So in the meantime I'm very antsy (wanting the surgery soooo bad). So, I've just been watching all of Dr. Hall's videos on his website www.phoenixliposuction.com It's pretty cool becuase you can see the full surgeries and he goes into depth about everything. Just wishing it was me! I will keep everyone updated as soon as I can get back in... Updated on 13 Mar 2015: I was finally able to get back on the books for my surgery. I will officially have my surgery this March, on the 26th. I'm beyond excited, and can't wait to get into a bathing suit! Updated on 19 Mar 2015: I received my pre-op phone call from Dr. Hall's office today. The office girl made sure I had all my prescriptions filled and supplies for after surgery. My surgery is scheduled for 3:30, but they want me at the office about half an hour early to start on paperwork. I was also instructed to not drink any caffeine day of surgery. After the phone call, I think the reality of having the surgery is finally setting in. I will post some more updated photos soon too. Updated on 25 Mar 2015: My big day is tomorrow and I'm extremely excited! So, this morning I was instructed to wash my surgical areas with Hibiclens, and I will continue to do so until it is all gone. I also started on my antibiotic. I purchased Arnica from the office, which helps with the bruising and swelling, so I am starting that today as well. When I get off work today, I am going to make sure I have a bag packed for tomorrow, with my extra clothing, pads, and all that good stuff. Updated on 26 Mar 2015: Today is the big day. My surgery is today at 3:30, so I am about to be en route after this quick blog. I thought I was going to be extremely nervous, but I'm really not. I think because I know I'm in good hands, it has put my at ease. I am super excited, I took some before photos of myself in an outfit, and I plan on taking the photos again after the surgery in the same outfit, so I can (and you guys too) really see the difference. But, I will try and post those today after the surgery. I will keep everyone updated once I am done, since I'm sure I'll just be hanging around afterwords. Excited to see the results! Updated on 27 Mar 2015: Yesterday I had my surgery, and I can't believe how easy it was! I will go through my experience step by step for those of you that are curious. I arrived at Infini Cosmetic about half an hour before my appointment as requested, and started on all of my consents for surgery. Once I was done, a nurse took me back into the surgery room. She gave me my medications, weighed me, and took my before photos. After that Dr. Hall came in and drew on me and explained the process. Then once in the surgery bed they wiped my down, injected some numbing solution and made the incision sites. After that he filled me with the anesthesia fluid, and let that work its magic. Then the surgery started. The worst part was probably the anesthesia because it had a stinging sensation, but on a scale of 1-10, it was probably a 2-3. So, not bad at all. The actual liposuction was even easier, I could barely feel it, it was maybe a 1-2, and it seems fairly quick. The Brazilian Butt Lift was about a 2, there were a couple little zingers, but all in all I would do it again. I'm currently in an under garment which reduces the swelling, I don't think it's uncomfortable, it's just hard to move in it. I slept through the night very well, I only woke up a couple times, and took my pain med just twice so far. I also just took tylenol for my last dose, which seems to help just as much. I just feel a little sore, but I have felt way worst after squats. I haven't taken my first shower yet, but I will later today. As of now, I definitely could have gone to work today. Easy Breezy! Updated on 27 Mar 2015: Updated on 27 Mar 2015: So I decided to take a shower, and snap a couple photos while I changed the pads and had the garment off. The shower stung a little, kind of like a sunburn. But I did clean the areas with hibiclens. I still have some draining and I can see some fluid in the abdominal area, which will go away on it's own. The garment was a little hard to get on, but manageable by myself. I definitely can see the change taking for already! The photos I have included are not even 24 hours post op yet. Updated on 31 Mar 2015: My recovery so far has been extremely easy. The worst part were the first couple days of just taking it easy because it got really boring just staying at home. So I had my surgery on Thursday evening and I actually went to a little get together on Saturday night. A majority of my draining had already stopped, so I only put two little pads on the outer thighs. I was able to put on form fitting clothes, although it did look a little bulky in the thigh area because of the pads. I had on my wedges too, and was able to stand all night without any complications. I still sleep on my stomach, just so I'm not putting and pressure on my butt. The next day, Sunday, I was out and about with no problem. By Sunday all my draining had stopped, and I put on normal clothes, this time with no padding underneath. I went to a party, I tried to avoid sitting as much as possible, but if i did I tried to take most of the pressure off my butt. I even got a massage that day, but I had the masseuse avoid below the waist. Yesterday, on Monday, I came back to work, and I got to wear a form fitting little dress, and I can't believe how amazing I look! My coworkers are all aware of the surgery, and they were in awe. After work yesterday, I went to the mall and two women actually stopped me. She asked if I worked out, and I told her sometimes, and then she proceeded to tell me that my body looked amazing, and she wanted my body. I literally couldn't be more thrilled. I'm so ecstatic that I got a complement from a complete stranger, and not even a week out of surgery. Updated on 1 Apr 2015: Still so far so good. But, today I really started to bruise in the outer thigh area. It may be because I had my garment off for a little longer that I was supposed to. However, I did get it back on. Tomorrow is my one week follow up with Dr. Hall. Updated on 16 Jul 2015: So below I included a link to my YouTube Video which chronicles my lipo surgery and story. Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoFnwYntKMc Updated on 16 Sep 2015: So I am about 5 1/2 months out now, I had my liposuction On March 26, 2015. I have posted my after photos of the final results. As the time goes on the areas continually get better and better! (Which I couldn't have even imagined, because the results were already fantastic!) My clothes fit so much better, and I'm not embarrassed to be in a bikini anymore. Liposuction with Dr. William Hall is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life!
I am a former dancer and athlete and have one problem area, which I call my "back fat." This area is in fact my waist apparently, but the back area of my waist. I consulted with Dr. Hall for less than five minutes, which I was fine with, because I was clear about what I wanted, it's a really obvious part of my body that's different than the rest, and he said in the consult, "this is the easiest procedure I do." He repeated that sentiment during my procedure, saying "this is the easiest procedure I'll do all day." And in my follow up appointment, said it once again, "oh yea, you're the one with the easy procedure." I concluded "easy" to mean "great results." And maybe that was my fault. I don't think this doctor did anything wrong surgically. However, part of his job is to manage my expectations, and the only thing I said I wanted to do was to wear backless clothes or a sports bra without a roll. He said nothing but positive things about what I could expect. Had he said, "I can make this slightly smaller, but you will still have these rolls,"...I would not have done it. I understand that it's an improvement. But to me the improvement is so small that it wasn't worth the 5k. If it was soooo easy and I'm the ideal candidate, I don't understand why my results weren't better. I did all the things I was instructed to do. I'm still wearing my waist trainer everyday, two months after the procedure, hoping it will miraculously help, despite being told I could stop after the first three weeks. This has greatly impacted my mental health, because I already struggled with my body image due to that problem area, and now I also have the $5k expenditure on top of still having the problem area. I don't think he's a bad doctor, I just wish I was better informed about what to expect. I feel kinda scammed.
So let me start out by saying I have been stalking this website for quite some time now, and everyone on here really helped me with actually going through with getting the liposuction/fat transfer that I've always dreamed of doing! So after doing some research and ruling out that I did NOT want to go out of the country for this procedure, I opted to stay in my state and see what was to offer. I have to admit, at first I was a little discouraged because every plastic surgeon in AZ is expensive as hell lol. But in my head I knew damn well I wasn't going to Miami, which seems like the capital of BBL's. But with a little more digging, I was able to find Infini Cosmetics Associates and was blown away at their before and after photos for lipo/BBL. After looking at their website everyday for a week straight, I knew I had to call and get a consultation. I made my consult with Dr. Hall in late May for mid June, which took FOREVER to come. I was so excited to finally be taking the first steps to achieving my dream body! At the consultation, I watched a video of Dr. Hall explaining the procedure, the techniques he uses, the benefits, etc. Then I was guided to a room where Dr. Hall came in pretty much right away, and we began talking about my wants/expectations. He took a look at my body and told me I would be a good candidate for the procedure! The consult lasted about maybe 10 minutes, then I met with Shannon to discuss finances and any other questions I had. The next day I scheduled to have to procedure done in 2 weeks and although it was so soon, I was so ready! Fast forward to the day of the procedure, I was scheduled at 8 am. I arrived and signed some paperwork, paid the remaining balance and the nurse took me back to get started (who was so nice btw) she gave me Xanax, Hydrocodone, and anti-nausea medicine. Dr. Hall does NOT use general anesthetic, only local. So yes, I was awake the whole time and although I took a Xanax I was actually pretty coherent. This is probably a deal breaker for some, so if you feel as though you can't handle this being awake then this isn't the place for you lol. Then I took some before pictures, picked out a movie and then Dr. Hall came in and started anesthetizing. Not gonna lie, this part hurt and lasted for like 15 minutes. Then the lipo began! Uncomfortable but tolerable. After the lipo, came the transfer to the butt. LAWD JESUS this hurt so freaking bad lol. But only lasted about 10 minutes. Then I was done! I stood up, the nurse put me in my compression garment and I was on my way home. All in all, Dr. Hall and his staff is amazing and I'm glad I picked him as my doctor for this procedure! Updated on 14 Jul 2018: So these are my before pictures. I took these about 2 1/2 months ago, I was weighing in at about 164/165. I forgot to mention I'm not sure how tall I am, I think I'm between 5'5 and 5'6 lol I know it's terrible that I don't actually know. But you obviously tell my problem area is my mid-section, my stomach has been big for sooooo long and no matter how much I worked out/ate right, nothing worked for me! Updated on 14 Jul 2018: These are the wish pics I had! I love the big hips look, of course I want the booty to be poppin lol but I think big hips are so nice! And of course a flat stomach. Updated on 18 Mar 2019: Sorry I forgot to post my after pictures! Here's a few after photos a couple of days after surgery. As you can see I was still hella swollen but my this was when my butt had the most volume! Wish it could've stayed like that lol but oh well. Updated on 18 Mar 2019: And here’s some pictures of my body now over the last 7-8 months. My stomach definitely isnt’t as flat as I want it to be, and I still have some bra fat that’s hard to get rid of. I have a lot of small incision scars on my back/stomach that I absolutely hate and tried really hard in the beginning get make sure they didn’t get any dark but nothing really worked for me. Overall I would say I’m okay with my results, it’s definitely better than what I had before but not exactly what I wanted (but you come to realization almost every girl who gets a lipo/BBL is never satisfied with their results lol.
I am a 5'2", 40 yo F. I would describe myself as fit & healthy. I work out 5-6 days a week. However, over the last several years I have noticed certain areas are very hard to get rid of and I haven't been totally happy with my body. Over a year ago I started looking into lipo. I went to a consultation for another well known plastic surgeon and wasn't totally convinced. A few months ago I picked my research back up and narrowed it down to 2 local PS. I went to see Dr. William J. Hall at Infini Cosmetic Associates and really liked him. His staff was very nice. Dr. Hall was very nice. He took the time to explain everything and assess what areas I did and didn't need lipo. I asked about my inner thighs, he told me no. He stated my buttocks didn't need augmenting, I had a nice shape (thank you squats & hip thrusts), and that by sculpting the outer thighs and waist it would reshape my buttocks nicely. By the time I left I decided that Dr. Hall was the PS for me. I scheduled my appointment and it is coming up! Next Thursday, August 31st. I'm excited! And I will update as things progress. I will be getting my waist, abdomen and other thighs done. Updated on 31 Aug 2017: So I had my surgery today! I thought I would write about the experience. I was so excited, not nervous at all. When I arrived the nurses took me back and had me change into some adorable surgical panties, lol, and a gown. I was given xanax, lortab and zofran. The nurse gave me some socks to keep my feet warm. Took vitals & measurements, all the usual medical assessment stuff. Then Dr. Hall came in, he marked up the areas he was going to be suctioning, then the nurse cleaned all the areas with betadine, it was nice and warm so it wasn't uncomfortable. I was able to choose what I wanted to watch on the tv mounted over the bed, I put on Friends, because who doesn't love Friends? Lol. They had me get up on the table and Dr. Hall injected the areas with a numbing agent. I barely felt this at all. Then he made the incisions for the cannula. Again, barely felt that. Then he started with the tumescent fluid which contains lidocaine and epinephrine. I will admit this part was a little uncomfortable. The worst part was the upper abdomen and around the belly button. The waist, hips and outer thighs weren't bad. Dr. Hall talked to me and asked me questions to distract me & the nurse placed a vibrating massager on my chest for distraction (look up gate control theory). -Not sure if I mentioned I'm an RN myself :) After he finished injecting the fluid he waited a few minutes to let it do it's magic and numb me up. I didn't feel the suctioning once he got started. You feel pressure and movement, that's about it. One little spot in the upper abd was sensitive so he injected a little more lidocaine. The nice thing about being awake is that you can flex and push out when the Dr asks so he can perfect everything. Dr. Hall uses the smallest cannula on the market and does multiple entry sites working in a cross hatch method in order to better sculpt the area. This is vs the traditional technique of using one or two entry sites and a thicker tool that doesn't give the ability for as much precision. It also reduces scarring, and the light sedation along with local anesthesia greatly reduces the risks associated with general anesthesia where you go under for the procedure. Dr. Hall had me stand up when he was close to being finished to check for symmetry and make sure he was happy with his work. He then had me get back up on the table so he could perfect a couple spots. (He and the nurse helped me get up and down). After he was done the nurse helped clean me up and put on the lovely hose with a hole cut out in the crotch, she placed pads under the hose to soak up the fluids that will leak out. She then helped me to put on my sexy compression garment ;) I got dressed and my husband pulled the car right up to the exit door and the nurse escorted me out and into the car. Once I got home the epi started wearing off and I started feeling tired. I ate some protein and veggies, took a tramadol and fell asleep for about 3.5 hours. I just woke up before writing this and the lidocaine has worn off and I'll admit I'm pretty sore now. Probably 6/10. I wanted to write up my experience before I go back to sleep. I just got up to take pics, not a good idea :( Going to take some zofran and lay down. I'll update tomorrow! Updated on 2 Sep 2017: Today is much better than yesterday. Yesterday I had quite a bit of pain/discomfort. Kept up on my pain meds & anti-emetic. Slept on & off throughout the day. Took a shower earlier in the day and got super dizzy and nauseous. My poor hubby helped me with my under hose, padding and putting on my garment. Dr. Hall leaves the incisions open to drain so you have to pad yourself up with extra large, super absorbent maxi pads. It's a sexy look. Lol. Last night I felt decent enough to walk loops around the inside of my house for 30min just to get some exercise in. It felt good but I was tired afterwards. Today I took my garment off to wash it. Took a shower, sitting down, much better today. Got to wash and dry my hair. I Put on my temporary garment but I didn't love it, didn't feel comfortable and wasn't enough compression. So as soon as my real garment dried I put it back on. Not so easy on your own. I only need a couple pads today vs yesterday as only a couple of the incisions are still draining. The surgical RN said to try and press down to help extract fluids when you're in the shower. I couldn't do it. It made me queasy. So I skipped that. Swelling is pretty under control with the garment. My feet and ankles were swollen yesterday, they are better today. And the most swelling I have is at my pubis area. It's also where I have the most bruising. But even that isn't too bad actually. I'm not comfortable taking pics of that so I won't be posting those, sorry. So far today I've only taken ibuprofen & I just took my zofran about 10min ago. I walked around the inside of my house for about 40min this morning. I got dressed, fixed my hair a little bit so I feel a little better. It's 130pm and I'm feeling a tired now. I might go ride long with my hubby to run some errands just to get out of the house, then come home and take a nap. Updated on 3 Sep 2017: Im not feeling as good today :( Possibly a little dehydrated. I'm pretty dizzy, and have some pitting edema at my ankles. So I'm trying to drink as much water as I can and I have my feet elevated. Pain wise not bad at all actually. Have only taken ibuprofen yesterday and today. I got a closer look at my bruises and it's really it too bad. Nothing like I had expected based on the pictures Ive see on here. The most bruising is at my lower abdomen. Some bruising to the other areas treated, but really not bad. I finally got up the nerve to take some pictures, so I'm posting them here. Updated on 4 Sep 2017: Felt pretty good today. Almost forgot to take ibuprofen as the pain is very tolerable now. It's mostly just discomfort, similar to sore muscles from a good workout. Only thing to update is that yesterday I started having some calf pain but no other symptoms that might worry me (localized swelling, redness, warmth, pain on flexion, shortness of breath) so I just monitored it. I did have a good amount of bilateral lower extremity edema so I elevated my feet for much of the day. Which helped. But then we went to dinner and I sat with my feet on the ground for 3 hours and by the time I got home my feet and calves were pretty swollen and my calf hurt more. I ended up texting Dr. Hall (he gives you his number and says to call him or text I'm if you have any questions or concerns) and he thought it very unlikely that it would have a dvt as I am healthy and have been active since my surgery. He hasn't had one since he started his private practice 17 years ago. That being said he obviously can't diagnose anything over the phone and encouraged me to go get an ultrasound if I was concerned. I decided to monitor overnight and see how I felt the next day. Well I woke up this morning still swollen and still having calf pain. Still no other symptoms. I ended up getting an ultrasound just to ease my mind and it came back clear, no signs of dvt. Most likely it is due to the swelling I am having in my lower legs. My calf is about 1" thicker in diameter than it normally is, so this is putting pressure on my muscles and nerves in that area. So I'm drinking lots of water and keeping my feet up as much as possible. I also got some compression socks with Dr. Hall's permission, to help with the edema. Other than that all is good today. Good energy. Cleaned up around the house. Picked up my room. And just relaxed a bit, it is Labor Day after all :) Updated on 7 Sep 2017: Today is 1 week since my surgery. I'm feeling very good! Haven't taken any analgesics in several days. I Saw Dr. Hall for follow up today. He said I'm looking better than is expected at this point. He told me to expect some increased swelling this week. Which I have started noticing at my lower abdomen. He also wants me to switch to a less aggressive compression garment. I can't wait to get out of this thing! I ordered a couple on Amazon, and I got them today. The maiden form is comfortable but doesn't have rough compression at the lowest part of my abdomen for my taste. The other one I ordered is good except the leg openings are super tight :( might return and get a size up. Dr. Hall said I could go to the gym to walk on the treadmill but not increase my HR. Just happy to be able to get to the gym starting tomorrow. Oh, the swelling at my legs has gone down and the calf pain is all gone! Updated on 27 Sep 2017: Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my surgery so I thought I would write an update. After 1 week Dr. Hall had me switch to lighter compression garments. I went to Nordstrom and got several spanx to wear. So I've been wearing those 24/7. Dr. Hall says to only wear them for 1 week but based on everything I've read and in talking to others I decided to continue wearing them for 6-8 weeks. I actually kind of like wearing the spanx! Never thought I would say that. As far as my body goes, I feel really good. I'm back to my full workouts. I was able to do that starting at 3 weeks. I don't have any pain. Some tenderness in a couple areas on my abdomen. Numbness is still present to all areas treated, but that doesn't bother me at all. The swelling is funny. Some days it's fine and others I get a little swollen, mostly in my lower abdomen/mons pubis area. I'm still experiencing some unevenness, this is more prominent when I have a little swelling so I know it's not permanent. I know this can continue for several months so I'm not super concerned. The incision sites are healing well. I am applying scar gel daily to make sure they heal without leaving scars as I tend to scar easily. Lipo is not a weight loss surgery, so I am on my own personal mission to lose 5-7# so that my upper body will look proportional to my new lower body. Once I lose the weight I will reassess and see if I want to go back and get my upper back and arms done. I have an appointment scheduled for 3 months post op to take after pictures. So once I get those I will post my before and afters. I'm really happy with everything and I'm happy to answer any questions!
I've always been a huge fitness and workout fanatic. I was a coach for a popular fitness DVD company. I did fitness shows and competed in the bikini division. I still love to workout often. Unfortunately due to some family issues, the depression hit me hard. I was making poor food choices and wasn't working out regularly. In turn gained 40 pounds. I was almost disgusted with myself. I started to workout again and lose weight but it was much harder. I quickly learned that the saying that once you hit a certain age your metabolism changes and so do how you lose weight. If we back up a bit, when I did my fitness shows, I took 6th place. I just missed the top 5. After the competition contestants are able to ask judges what and where they could make improvements. 2 of the 5 told me that my hips and thighs needed additional work. This played over and over in my head for years. So when I started to workout again and it was even harder to lose that fat and tone up in that area, I decided to look into various procedures. My first stop was cool sculpting. After tremendous research and several consults, I realized that the pricing would end up nearly as expensive as Smart Lipo. So I decided I would not do cool sculpting. Then I started looking into the various methods of Liposuction. I went on a total of 5 consults. My first consult was in Chandler, which is a good 45 minutes from where I live. The doctor was very nice. At this time all I wanted was inner and outer thighs and inner knees, but wanted to at least get pricing on my abdomen, hips and waist. During the consult the doctor kept insisting that I get a Brazilian Butt Lift. Although I had already advised of wanting to compete again, the insistence of doing that was too much. I don't need a bigger butt, I'm actually trying to shrink it. He advised he would be doing laser assisted liposuction but would also have water assisted available if need be. It would be done in two procedures and under local anesthesia. Their cost was $16,500. (chin and arms were not in this quote) My second, third and fourth consults all did their procedures at surgical centers. They all did regular liposuction but also had laser and water options available during their procedure if needed. They would use general anesthesia and their costs ranged from $10,000-$15,000. Oh and one of these doctors even "highly recommended" I get my breast augmentation (from 2002) redone. Which I am not just ready to do yet. When I do that, I will go back to my original Surgeon. My 5th consult was with a doctor in an Old Town Scottsdale location. I actually found him from another Real Self'er. I called and made my appointment for a consult and it was for a week and a half later (most doctors consults were a month out). The week of my consult the office gal called and asked if I wanted to go in sooner, they had a consult cancellation. I jumped on it. At this point, I was ready to make a decision whether I would do this surgery or not. I went in for my consult and the office was amazing. The staff was just wonderful. I went in and they brought me to watch a video which was the doctor explaining the procedure as well as showing the tools and how the procedure worked. This doctor primarily uses Smart Lipo. He also specializes in Smart Lipo. He ONLY does liposuction procedures. He does not do every other plastic surgery option. This helped me view patients before/afters and also allow me to understand that he has done over 10,000 procedures and even on famous people. I met with the doctor and was able to point out my areas. At this time, it was inner, outer thighs and inner knees but I did ask him about my abdomen and waist area. He did pull my skin back (in various areas) so I could see what it could potentially look like after the procedure. He has a surgical center attached to his office so that would reduce some of the pricing because that's a big part of the other doctors fees. He answered all of my questions and talked with me for a good 45 minutes. Then I went and talked with the office gal who discussed cost and payment options. The cost would have been $8,000 (cash price, 9K if I financed). The surgery would be done in two phases (two sep days about a week apart). We also went over dates and how far out she was booking. I had one more consult so I advised her I was going to wait until after I went on that consult. My 6th and final consult was with a doctor in Scottsdale. One of my best friends used this Doctor twice for liposuction, I had been referred to by several people and was also someone in which another "RealSelf'er" had used and highly recommended. He was a little more old school with his procedure. He used the regular old school liposuction procedure. I would be going to an out patient facility and he recommended me stay over night at least for 2 nights because of how many areas I wished to have done. Total (no chin or arms) would be $14,000. I thought about everything. I went through everyone's paperwork and pamphlet's and documents they provided me. I slowly started narrowing it down. The doctor I was most impressed with was consult 5. This is Dr. Hall with Infini Cosmetics. The fact that all Dr. Hall does is liposuction, had the biggest impact on my decision. Yes, price was a big part, BUT it was not the final decision maker. I was ready to make the deposit for both surgeries. The deposits are $1k to hold the dates. The balance is due the day of the surgery. I went in and made my deposit and set the first procedure for 08/29 and the second for 09/06. Updated on 30 Aug 2016: I'm traveling this weekend so I made sure everything was ready to go before I get back on 8/28. I am so excited yet very nervous. There are a lot of thoughts or fears that go through my mind that scare me. The good thing is that this is done with local so I will be awake. Although that also scares me at the same time. These are my pre-op photos 3 days pre. Updated on 30 Aug 2016: Monday 8/29 at 8am was what time I needed to be at my surgery. I have everything ready to go. The office I chose has a gal they use who can drive you round trip. She knows how to handle everything. She's been working for Dr. Hall for several years so she knows exactly what to do when she gets you home. I live fairly far from the office (which is in Old Town Scottsdale) so the gal picked me up at 6:45. The traffic at times was horrible so we made it to the office about 7:35, which was perfect. I wore very baggy black sweats, an old bra and a cheap t-shirt and a very loose thin zip up sweat shirt. I even brought my warm cozy socks since they suggested it. Everything was from Walmart so it was all cheap stuff that could get ruined. The bra I wore there got soaked from the procedure so I threw it out and thankfully I brought an extra. They got me ready by giving me my "cocktail" to help me get a bit woozy. I then went and did measurements and my before photos. Once back into the surgery room, Dr Hall came in and did his drawings. I was starting to feel dizzy and a bit tired, but I think my anxieties took over and wouldn't allow me to doze off at all. He got me ready and then I laid on the table and the next thing I knew, he was injecting the lidocaine all around my tummy. Yes it stung, but I have to say throughout the process, I had to have them inject more because I could feel it quite a bit. It was not the pressure I was feeling it was more along the line of a sharp pinch/pain. I had my abdomen, my waist, hips and then at the last minute (while in the surgery room), I added my chin. I felt like my abdomen took forever, but it really didn't. He had me turn on my sides (one by one) and then he went back over me and had a look at me and did a few more times in my abdomen area (because he's a perfectionist). Then he numbed my chin and did my chin, which took less than 5 minutes. At the very end, I was shaking so bad because I was cold and I was filled with the lidocaine. The nurse stood me up and because I was so shaky she had to have me hold her shoulder. I was already "draining" so she had to wipe me down before she helped bandage me and then put on my compression garment. She showed me exactly where to put the pads. I was sort of out of it and could hear my words slurring a bit since the "cocktail" kicked in. She helped me change my bra and throw the soaked one out. Then put on my sweats and flip flops. 30 minutes prior to me being done, Dr. Hall had them call the gal that does the medical rides and tell her I would be ready in 30 minutes. After I was done dressing, the nurse had me eat crackers and have some water to ensure I wouldn't throw up from all I had taken and the injections, especially with how badly I was shaking. Since I am having my inner and outer thighs and inner knees done next week, my compression garment goes from just below my knees to just under my boobs/bra. So with that being said, I bought an extra CG. I highly recommend it regardless if you have additional areas or not. I will explain why in my post surgery update. Pre-Op Day of photos won't upload, I'll try again shortly. Updated on 31 Aug 2016: These are the photos from my pre-op day taken at the Surgeon's office. Updated on 31 Aug 2016: After surgery I went home and got in bed and passed out. I was just spent. I forgot to cancel my house cleaners and they were there when I got home. I had to ask them to do everything except my room. When I got in bed I realized I needed some gatorade (the office recommended at least 1). So I text my friend and asked her to grab them and also some tiny bandage squares for my chin. I added my chin very last minute so I didn't have the few items needed for it post op. My friend quickly came over (life saver) with some gatorade and some bandages. I went back to sleep. I slept for hours then got up to pee. I have a full CG on with just the crotch open because I am having my thighs and knees done next week. So going to the bathroom was odd. I felt like no matter how I sat I would end up with pee on me. Thankfully it didn't happen. :-) I lifted my shirt and noticed how much I was soaking thru so I changed a few of the pads that were reachable. I didn't want to do too much right away. I got back in bed. I woke up had some fruit and water and meds and went back to bed. I slept a LOT for the first day. I ended up waking up at 1:30am (Tuesday morning) and really felt dirty and needed to take a shower. Thankfully I was allowed to take a shower after 12 hours. At this time, it was about 14+ hours. So I started to undress my sweatshirt and shirt and sweatpants. My CG was pretty gross. This is where I am beyond thankful for the extra CG. Although the doctors office said you can put something else on while washing the CG, I knew that would not work for me. I am so particular about things that I knew I would want to wash the CG and make sure the stains were out and let it air dry (if you put in dryer it may shrink). I unwrapped, taking off all the layers of padding. I could not believe how my stomach looked. I was in shock. 14 hours Post Op and I was already seeing a great difference. I used Hibiclense when I got in the shower. I cleaned up and then redid all my padding and such under my 2nd garment. Once I was good, I then started to rinse out my 1st CG in the sink to get a lot of the reddish stains out. Then I washed it on delicate/gentle with an extra soak. I got back in bed and started to fall asleep. I woke up again about 6 and then hung up my 1st CG to air dry. I have to say, Having 2 CG's was a lifesaver. I have read a lot of reviews and people say they swell up a good deal while the CG is washing. I also hand rinsed my chin garment out and put that in the dryer on delicate. My photos are of 14 hours Post Op. Updated on 10 Sep 2016: Days 4 to one week were pretty decent. I didn't take pain killers at all, not even ibuprofen. I was sore and felt bruised but nothing more. I did start my 1 mile walks on day 2 and on days 4-8 I walked 2 to 3 miles each day. I stopped "leaking" on day 2. On Saturday, which was 5 days post, I went to dinner with friends. My Dr office said I could use a spanx CG instead of my full post op CG. So I went to Kohl's and purchased a maidenform CG. It was on sale plus I had a coupon so it worked out great. Since it was just for my waist, abdomen and hips, I purchased the one that looks like a one piece bathing suit but has the boobs uncovered so you can wear your own bra. It worked great. Although I did feel like I pushed myself a bit much. I was out for 5-830ish. After about 2 hours, I started to get sore. Once I got home and back in the full post op CG suit, I felt MUCH better. 1 week was Labor Day so I was ok. I didn't do much, so I felt ok. Oh... here is something that is HUGE. It's not a pleasant convo but I'm going to be blunt and honest for those to plan ahead. The constipation from the medication and pain killers (even though I only took a few) was INSANE! It was so bad. I started taking dulcolax from 1 day pre-op. 2 pills each night. By Friday, which was 4 days post, 5 days of no poop, 10 laxatives in, and finally had to use a suppository. It was dreadful. By the time I finally was finally able to go (about 10pm Friday night), it was horrible. I actually went through about an hour of massive pains from the dulcolax I took Friday evening. It was almost like labor pains, not even kidding. This is the normal Dulcolax I was taking. Then about 10pm it was non stop. SO with all that being said I did a lot of research for my next surgery and found a better method! I went and got the WOMENS PINK DULCOLAX! It's for sensitive tummies. I will update with my next surgery but I will also tell you now, it was easy the second go round. No pain and no constipation. I cannot tell you enough how much I recommend the pink Dulcolax. Do not think you won't get constipated, it WILL happen. plan ahead!!! Updated on 10 Sep 2016: 9/6 was my surgery for my inner and outer thighs, inner knees, and arms. I've attached my pre-op from my first surgery, and my pre-op from my second surgery (which is 8 days post from my abdomen, waist, and hips). You can see the drawings on me to know which for each surgery. I was nervous because I knew what to expect. The nurse made the first lidocane stronger due to the fact that they had to up it during my first surgery. So this time they wanted to start out easy. The nurse took measurements for my 1 week post of my first surgery and also weighed me. She warned me that I could weigh more due to all the fluid they put in me. She said it's very common and almost always the case. She weighed me and I was down 5 lbs! I couldn't believe it and neither could the nurse. Then she measured my waist and I was down 6 inches. At one week, both the doctor and the nurse said they couldn't get over how fast I was progressing. They also noted that I had nearly zero bruises. Mind you, during week one, I went from slightly purple to yellow to no bruising. I did pay the office for the stronger arnica pills. Which I truly believe was what helped me with my bruising. I have to say, the small incisions and injections of the lidocaine was nothing in the thighs, knees and arms... Even the surgery was a piece of cake compared to the abdomen, waist and hips. It was not only faster but I didn't feel a things. Only once did I feel it slightly so I had him inject more lidocaine. I don't even think it took him an hour. He did my thighs first then my arms and then went back and did some perfecting on my thighs. Which made me feel good that he wanted it to be perfect. I was a little out of it so I don't remember much after the surgery until I got home. I used the medical driver the office uses, again. She is amazing. When we got home, she made sure my bed was covered and I had water, gatorade and all my meds next to me. I had blankets in my dryer and she grabbed them and put one on me and folded the other. She made sure I had pillows under my feet and also had my remotes (I don't sleep solidly on pain meds so if the tv is on I will wake up watch and doze right back to sleep). She was amazing. I couldn't thank her enough. She offered to stay if needed but I didn't need it. She will arrange to come back and help with bandages if need be, but I was ok and had a friend coming the next day to help. ***If you have your arms done, you WILL need help with your first bandage changing *** I will update more on this in my post op postings. Updated on 10 Sep 2016: I was much more sore from arms, knees and thighs. I think it's because if you are a side sleeper you can't sleep on your side comfortably due to the arm and thigh incision sites. I am a stomach sleeper so after my abdomen I couldn't do that... had to side sleep and now I can't do that. So I back slept... not fun! I did take pain meds for 36 hours post on this surgery. It was more difficult for me to move around and get out of bed. I kept my feet up after this surgery. What I forgot to mention in a prior post was that my legs started to swell like crazy on days 3-5 post after my first surgery. It was almost like pregnancy legs. I even had kankles!!! It was HORRIBLE. Yes I was drinking a lot of water, but it was all the meds and walking. So I started to put my legs up on day 4 and every single night since I have done that. I will continue this for at least 1 month post op. I do not like the sight or feel of swollen calfs OR KANKLES! Gross! I do recommend putting your legs up, no matter what part of your body you have surgery on. Between surgery and meds, it's needed. I woke up 1 days post (surgery #2) and really needed to change the pads. I soaked right through my CG and my sweats. I had to wash everything. Thank goodness I had 2 CG! Again, I highly recommend two. I only purchased one arm CG. I brought a big trash bag into the bathroom for changing my pads/bandages. I took my body CG off and removed all my leg bandages and pads then I decided to remove and change my arm bandages. Once I took off the arm CG I knew I would need help getting it back on. I text one of my friends and she said she would be right over. Then she said give me 10 minutes. So I quickly got in the shower to rinse off with hibiclense. I love this stuff. It smells decent too. I was DEF super sore and numb/tingly feeling from the surgery. I got out and took a few quick pics then started to put my full body CG back on. The legs were easy to do, BUT my elbows were leaking so it was an adventure to prevent the dripping from my elbows while putting my full body CG on. By the time my friend got to my house, I was ready to put the arm bandages on and my arm CG. The arm CG is a pain in the butt and truth be told, it sucks! I can tolerate sweats and the full body CG that goes from abs/waist down to below my knees but the arm CG made me super hot... almost unbearable. Living in AZ doesn't help either. Plus it's harder to get away with jackets or long sleeves in the summer out here. Thank goodness my friend came over and helped. I would have never been able to do the arms by myself at 1 day post. It was no bueno! I posted a photo of 9 days post on abs waist hips and 1 day post on thighs knees and arms (but you can't see my arms. I started taking the pink women's dulcolax the evening of surgery and today (1 day post) I was able to go to the bathroom just fine. No pain, no cramping and easy flow. NO issues. Updated on 10 Sep 2016: Tonight I went to get a bite to eat with a friend. I was feeling much better and felt like I could put on some real clothes! I put on some stretch jeans over my full body CG. Oddly I was able and they were loose, even with the extra layer. I put a 3/4 sleeve top on and it used to fit snug and its super loose now. It covered my arm CG except I did let the little lace ends hang out from the sleeves. Needed a little bit of girly look to my outfit. We just went to a local bar & grill and had a turkey burger with a salad. No bun no fries no crap. Although the wings looked so yummy. I was good. All week I kept my legs up, no swelling of the legs, calfs or ankles. Thank goodness. Arms are sore but nothing major. I just feel bruised. My abs waist and hips are feeling great. Where I felt bruised on my back from that surgery, it's no longer feeling bruised. I am starting to feel really good and the results are looking good. I'm still super swollen, I can see it and feel it, but I know I have a long way to go. I cannot wait to see my final results but this is really testing my patience. I am beyond happy with my Surgeon. he's amazing. I almost didn't go to him for a consult but read and saw another girls posts and results and we chatted a bit via PM on real self and I went to see him. I have to say it was THE BEST decision ever going to Dr. Hall at Infini Cosmetics. I could not be any happier. He is such a perfectionist and super nice and made sure I was doing ok through out the entire process. The entire staff was amazing too. I highly recommend him. I will continue to post updates and photos.
So ill start with an intro. im a 28 year old, married, full time working mom of 2 girls. Ive had weight issues all my life. i finally got dedicated and lost all my weight through diet and exercise then got preggo. I did the process all over again through diet and exercise got preggo again. this time around the struggle is REAL and i really need a jump start. Now even when i lost weight with diet and exercise i could never lose weight in my arms. they are HUGE. i know its genetics, all the women in my family have huge arms. I literally wear long sleeves every day, and i have done so since my senior year in high school. (10 years ago) did i mention i live in Phoenix where its 1 million degrees in the summer? Anyway... i went to my consultation at Infini Cosmetics in Scottsdale Az around 10/15/16. ( i dont remember the exact date). Its a very nice office. I filled out paperwork and was immediately called back to the doctor's office. I waited for only about 2 minutes and then met Dr Hall. He was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He showed me pictures of the instruments he uses for the procedure, and explained that he was the only lipo specialist in the state of Arizona. I was happy i got to meet with the doctor in person. he asked a few questions about which areas i wanted to get done. I was initially interested in my arms and upper/lower abs. The doctor took me to another room where i took off my sweater and showed him the areas i was concerned with. He was very honest regarding what he could do. i have stretch marks on my stomach and a bit of loose skin. (mommy tummy). he advised that those issues could not be fixed with the procedure but that i would look better in my clothes. (which is okay with me) when examining my stomach he also suggested getting my love handles done or else they would stand out. I agreed. He was quite surprised when i showed him my arms. he agreed that they did not fit my body and they gave me a totally different shape. So after the meeting with the doctor, I met with Shannon who had the procedure done as well. she answered all if my questions. Said the worst part would be getting the local anesthesia which she compared to the pain of getting a tattoo. (not looking foward to that). So after talking with my husband i scheduled my surgery for 11/20/15. Super excited and anxious. I'll be keeping you all updated. Updated on 18 Nov 2015: my procedure is 2 days away. I can't stop stalking this website! But im a little nervous now, not about the procedure, but about post op. From what i read im probably going to be recovering for longer than i anticipated. I have a job where i sit all day so im not too worried about work, but im scheduled to work 48 hours after my surgery so im praying to God im not suffering the whole day. im also worried because my kids are super attached to their mommy. im holding one of them at all times, im having my arms done so i dont know how thats going to work. Im also considering adding my bra rolls. I think the flat stomach im hoping for, with remaining back fat would not be cute and i rather get everything done at once. Im going to call the office to see how much it would cost to add another area. Fingers crossed its under $1500 if so, im sold. I have so many emotions but mainly just excitement! Ill try to post again day of. if im out of it, ill post on saurday. Wish me luck!!! Updated on 21 Nov 2015: So i had my procedure done yesterday. I arrived at 8am, filled out paperwork, and was escorted to the room. i met the RN and was given xanax and vicodin. Then i took some before pictures. I laid down and the happy pills kicked in. i felt really loopy. the doctor came in and marked me up, then came the pain. OMG i wasnt ready. the lidocane was very painful. my tolerance for pain isnt that great anyway but this pain was more than expected. i began to feel pressure. and the doc started sucking out the fat. The nurse put on a movie. i was loopy the whole time and was sleeping during half of the procedure. i got home and was really out of it. i only had to use the restroom once and i had a mini panic attack. i just got super hot and nauseous. my husband gave me some sprite and some medicine and i went back to sleep. this morning i showered and got a glimpse of my belly and arms. my stomach looks a hot mess. its lumpy all over and very wrinkled. my waist feels smaller but im very swollen. my arms feel a little smaller. My only concern is my compression garment. its not tight at all. it feels like its just holding my pads on. I've read that people cant breath because their garments are so tight or they need help putting their garment on. mine just slides on. im worried its too big and not holding things in. i can easily put it on myself. and it bunches up a little. i have a waist trainer so ill probably switch after my 1 week post op appt. im sure i missed some stuff so let me know if you guys have any questions! will post some pics today Updated on 21 Nov 2015: Updated on 22 Nov 2015: omg im itching soo bad. its horrible. worst than pain. its coming from each incision. any suggestions? Updated on 24 Nov 2015: Okay im starting to worry my hands and lower arms are soo swollen. They feel extremely tight. Im drinking plenty of water so i dont think thats the problem. i think my cg is cutting off my circulation. or maybe everything from my upper arm is just draining downward. Its painful to the touch because my skin is so tight. i posted some pics of my hands. does this look normal? Updated on 29 Nov 2015: So i wanted to give you all an update on how ive been. To sum it all up ive been very sore. i can move around without pain but going from the sitting to standing postion is horrible. Also, laying down is painful so i havent been getting good sleep. im also very tender. The slightest touch on my arm, love handles or mid section hurts like hell. i was extremely swollen for the past week. i have not been able to put on a pair of pants since the surgery. my love handles are swollen and sore so putting on jeans is out of the question. I think i was holding on to water. I was drinking a gallon a day and barely using the bathroom, until yesterday. I was running to pee every 5 minutes. I am concerned becuase i have actually gained weight since the surgery. But hopefully its just because of the swelling. I am still concerned that my compression garment is too big. it has never fit snug, not even the day of surgery. I got some great advice from "readyforsummer" one of the blog users here. She recommended getting an ab board, topi foam and using an ace bandage because my gut was bulging. I felt like it wasnt compressing enough. so i started to use all three tools and the difference is mind blowing. I also ordered a smaller garment because as she put it, "i paid too much money not to get the results i want over something minor like a cg" Woke up this more and took some pics. I am very happy with my results so far! excited to see myself 6 weeks post op. Updated on 4 Dec 2015: so i went to see the doc thursday for my post op check up he says im healing well. im a bit discouraged because i feel big. my jeans are fitting again but im just not where i want to be. the doc said thats normal. he took a liter of fat out of each arm and 1.6 liters from my stomach. he says my fat was tough to get out which is why im so sore. he said 1/20 patients he works on has this kind of tough visceral fat. he said i should expect to actually get bigger and look worst these next two weeks and then my results should start showing. blah... im not that patient. my stomach looks a hot mess and lumpy right now. i got out of the shower today and my 3 year old felt the need to say, "mommy your tummy looks disgusting." lol gotta love the kids and their honesty. heres some pics of my arms as of today. not posting any pics of this hot meas of a stomach right now

Hello,
Microneedling is a safe treatment to combine with any filler including Botox. During the micro-needling procedure no pressure should be applied on the area being treated. The micro-needling pen is lightly placed on the skin moving in an upward and downward motion with no pressure applied, making it safe to use over any filler at any time. Some doctors may recommend you waiting a week or two between treatments depending on the your skin heals personally, everyone heals differently, some people have bruising and swelling with fillers that can take up to two weeks to heal, some people have swelling and redness with Microneedling for 5-7 days after. Everyone is different. Consult your Doctor for the best results according to your skin.
