I’m so glad you shared this. I was feeling the same as you. I had surgery on 3/14/18 so it’s 3 weeks and I’m still really swollen in my belly area. I’m satisfied with my Butt because it was flat so I can see the difference. So in 2 months I really will be feeling my results from reading your comments

I have to go back in May as well for the post op on my butt lift. these pictures they did captured my butt in it but was only for my Lipo and to show how my body changed. I can’t wait til my butt softens out, I still feel like it’s so tensed..idk but whenever it “fluffs” that will be my final result of my butt. Starting today I’m working on strengthening my core and lifting my butt more. baby steps! lol! it took a while for my swelling to go down and some days I still feel swollen and I make sure to rub my arnica oil on. You got this!

No UMBILICAL HERNIA

SkinnyThickums
Thank You God!!! No umbilical Hernia detected in the ultrasound!!! My stomach is still going down the only concern I have is the small pudge right around the navel area. Idk if the doctor assumed I had a hernia and stayed away from there but since I don’t and if it doesn’t go all the way down I want that revised. Smh overall I’m extremely happy!!!!

Feeling Concerned

SkinnyThickums
So it’s been 2.5 weeks since my procedure. My stomach is almost flat but not quite which is the concerning part. I’m being told my the doctor who performed the surgery that I have an umbilical hernia . I thought I would be fine with it but I’ve been experiencing pain when I bend down the wrong way like something is getting ready to come thru my stomach! So basically my stomach won’t be flat unless I have the procedure performed for that, which he didn’t offer at the facility. My butt has also lost fat that I wanted to have stick around. My swelling is pretty much gone because I was able o wear jeans for the first time yesterday. I love my hips but not my butt... in the jeans I wore there was no difference in how they fit before. I’m very discouraged..I’m having mixed emotions because I wanted a flat stomach without the extra implication of their being something else wrong and i wanted my fat in my azz to stick around. Ive done everything asked by not sitting on it or anything. I still lay on my stomach which I naturally don’t. So I’ve scheduled an appt for tomorrow with my PCP to properly diagnose the hernia and pray like hell that my insurance will cover it. If my insurance will cover it, I want the procedure done immediately. I’ve added two pics for you all to see.. some really encouraging words would be appreciated because I’m feeling like crap. Until the next update ladies..

I don’t know if your doc told you or not but almost half of the fat injected will die. When I read that he put 550 in each cheek I immediately hoped you would still be able to enjoy your results. I know that right now you feel that it was all a waste but you really do look great. If a round two is something you’d consider in the future then go for it, but as of right now relax and allow your body to heal. I see ladies all the time that don’t exactly like what they see now & In a month or two they absolutely love it. Hang in there beauty & good luck on your hernia surgery.

No, he never stated that half of the fat would die. I wasn’t very big to start with to get more fat out unless I took from other places. My biggest concern was my stomach and having the fat transferred to my butt was the added bonus. I just wanted my fat in my stomach gone...now this hernia thing has just taken me by surprise.

Hey honey! 1). You still look great! 2) You’re only a few weeks in.Give it a while before you get upset. 3) I’m about to be 6 months post op, and I’m STILL healing! 4) Your stomach should def go down some more! Give it some more time. And don’t forget to wear your garment, that’s what helps to shape u mostly. Let us know if you notice any changes. Be blessed darling! I, personally, think you look fine! Take care!!!

Thank you, I have my appt today to find out if it really is an umbilical hernia. If it is, I want the procedure done.. I’m feeling like it would be a waste of money for having this BBL performed and my stomach isn’t all the way flat as I hoped. I will continue to stay positive and will keep you girls updated.

Hey girl! Did you find anything out? Hope all is well!

Hey girl! I went in and the doctor says it’s a small umbilical hernia but I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to make sure nothing else is wrong. My stomach has gone down since and it is just a very small bulge. I’m extremely happy about that! my insurance will cover the hernia so that takes some stress off of me. I wore my girdle for 10hours yesterday and I’ve ordered two more to continue to shape my waist and hips. 4 weeks is approaching fast but my doctor don’t suggest me putting pressure on my butt until 6weeks...what have you been told?

you’re stomach will most likely go down even more!! especially if you’re using your garment as much as you have. hopefully the umbilical hernia is all you have! let me know how the ultrasound goes. as for me, i was told the same thing about not sitting for 6 weeks. I followed what my body told me, lol. I work in an office and sit for 8 hours of the day. i still sit on a pillow at work. i can sit at home and while driving but not for long amounts of time. its uncomfortable still, mind you, im going on 6 MONTHS. its a long healing process but i progress daily. Keep wearing ur garment. believe me it helps. I stopped wearing mine, I think that’s why im taking longer to heal. i also smoke so that adds to it too. what are ur plans after u take care of the umbilical hernia?

Yes, I want to keep shaping my body for as long as I can. I would’ve preferred more fat to the butt but I know I’m a petite person and fat is scarce lol! I’m happy with the definition but I will just tone my body and squats to lift it. I don’t know about a TT because I’m really afraid of the scar it will leave. My fiancé is happy with my body so that’s all that matters plus we want to try for a girl after all these boys lol

awwwwww! I’m so sorry for the bad news;( I know it must be rough after having gone thru surgery? was this something the dr couldn’t point out before the lipo? Stay positive sweetie;) God bless

i believe he surgeon stated something as a hernia because of how my belly button was (inny outty) it’s always Been like that though so I want alarmed until after my procedure. I’m okay now and I’m content with my small bulge. I just need to tighten my abdominal wall through exercise :)
