Not Great Results
I am a former dancer and athlete and have one problem area, which I call my "back fat." This area is in fact my waist apparently, but the back area of my waist. I consulted with Dr. Hall for less than five minutes, which I was fine with, because I was clear about what I wanted, it's a really obvious part of my body that's different than the rest, and he said in the consult, "this is the easiest procedure I do."
He repeated that sentiment during my procedure, saying "this is the easiest procedure I'll do all day."
And in my follow up appointment, said it once again, "oh yea, you're the one with the easy procedure."
I concluded "easy" to mean "great results." And maybe that was my fault. I don't think this doctor did anything wrong surgically. However, part of his job is to manage my expectations, and the only thing I said I wanted to do was to wear backless clothes or a sports bra without a roll.
He said nothing but positive things about what I could expect.
Had he said, "I can make this slightly smaller, but you will still have these rolls,"...I would not have done it.
I understand that it's an improvement. But to me the improvement is so small that it wasn't worth the 5k.
If it was soooo easy and I'm the ideal candidate, I don't understand why my results weren't better. I did all the things I was instructed to do. I'm still wearing my waist trainer everyday, two months after the procedure, hoping it will miraculously help, despite being told I could stop after the first three weeks.
This has greatly impacted my mental health, because I already struggled with my body image due to that problem area, and now I also have the $5k expenditure on top of still having the problem area.
I don't think he's a bad doctor, I just wish I was better informed about what to expect. I feel kinda scammed.
