My Story About HEVA
I had my hair transplant done at HEVA two weeks ago and now that I am home. I just want to write a glowing review about them. For some background, I have been dealing with traction alopecia for a while now. And if you have ever had this problem, then you know that wearing ponytails or even adding extensions becomes a thing of the past. Here is my story about HEVA: When I first spoke to my coordinator at the clinic, Bryan, we went through all the hair transplant options available for women. He also linked me up with the surgeon in charge of the procedure so we could square out all the details before I made my payment and traveled to Istanbul. Our conversations went well and I booked my appointment and prepared myself mentally for the needles – I hate needles but I hate thin hair even more! I was so overjoyed when I got to Istanbul. After a long flight with a very long layover, I was tired and grumpy, and the thought of another hassle was weighing on me. Imagine my joy when I walked out of the airport to see this lovely driver holding up a placard with my name. I felt like a real VIP, especially after I saw the sleek car that was waiting for me. I don’t know much about cars and have been driving the same one for years but I know this was a really nice model. The driver even offered me water and a snack as we weaved through the traffic to get to my hotel where I found that my room had an incredible view of the city! This started feeling like less of a surgical trip and more of vacation. The clinic was even better. Everyone was kind, the whole space was beautifully decorated by someone who obviously has taste, and the rooms were clean. The consultation and op rooms were also very private which I liked because I tend to be dramatic in the face of needles. While they worked on my head, I was able to watch my favorite shows and they had such a nice ambience in there that I felt calm enough to relax. Besides, I was not feeling pain. Before I left, they handed me a hot cup of Turkish tea, which was perfect for the winter, and talked to me about what to do in the coming days. I left feeling like a total queen. I know that my review is a bit premature as I am yet to see if the grafts will hold but everything so far has been so amazing that I could not wait months to tell you all about my experience.
