The Results in a Few Months.

I have been dealing with thinning on my temples which was a result of my love for hair extensions. It had gotten to the point at which the hair at my sides was no longer growing and I had two bald patches staring at me each time I looked in the mirror. I don’t know about men but I know that as women, hair is a core part of our identities and the more hair I lost, the more confidence I lost. I was unsure about getting a hair transplant for many reasons, including the fact that it was very expensive to do it in the UK and also the biases I had about getting such procedures done. But despite this, I found myself researching options outside the UK and that is how I came across Heva. But as a woman who had never traveled abroad alone, I was on the fence about making the trip alone and yet I knew that I only had one chance to do it at a time when my work was not so busy. None of my friends or family had a week off in June and so I had to make the trip alone or keep dealing with my thinning hair. I talked to my coordinator at Heva, Maria, who promised to organize everything for me. She created a package that included the surgery, the transport, the food, the accommodation, and every other small and big thing. The only thing I had to do was book my flight, arrive at the airport, and look for the driver who would have my name on a big placard as I had requested. They kept their word and the entire time I was there, I was safe in the cocoon they had created for me which involved picking me up at the hotel, taking me to the clinic, getting the procedure of the day, going back to the hotel, and resting in my room which had an amazing view of Istanbul. I felt safe and everyone I met was very friendly. It has only been a month since I left and given how well they have been supporting me through the aftercare app, I felt it was only right for me to inform other women that this is a clinic they can trust. For example, on day 3 after the surgery, I had swelling around my eyes and since I had just arrived back home, I did not know what to do as I could not just go to the clinic. I contacted the post-op team through the app and they walked me through how to make and use a compress, and they also adjusted my medication. It has been a good couple of weeks and I am eager to see the results in a few months.
