My Hairline Has Progressed

Since Heva caters a lot to people with afro hair, I thought I should share my whole experience with them as this could help someone out. Fair warning – this will be a long story. I am 36 and live in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. I have never really had hair trouble until a few years ago when my hairline started receding. Third, hair transplant clinics are few and far between where I come from and the prices can be ridiculous. Long story short is that I had a long list of concerns that I had to navigate. I almost gave up on finding a solution but each time I looked at my hairline, I went back to my computer and kept looking for options. The hair transplant in itself was very intense and specialized because it required a high level of delicacy. Using 2800 grafts, the surgeon and his team used a customized wide-diameter rotary punch to extract my follicles without transecting them and then implanted them on my hairline. He also explained that they would use a coiled growth angle that would match my hair type. I was initially worried that taking care of my head would be tough but the aftercare team was able to walk my wife through how to wash my scalp without damaging the grafts. They even had her set up an app that sent her reminders on when to wash and oil my scalp. We have all worked very well together since February to ensure that my scalp heals completely and that I do not develop keloids. But that is not all. My hairline has progressed quite well during this time. The new hair, while still short, is just like the rest of my hair and it is growing in quite densely. I can see the difference even now and my wife is also happy with the results. The only advice I would have to other men getting this procedure is to follow the routines as prescribed because while it may be a lot of work, it pays off.
