A: In my VASER Liposuction patients, I have them wear the compression garment for 3 months post-operatively. It is best to check with your surgeon as every one has a different approach. The garment is important to help minimize edema but it does not make the liposuction better or worse. I also recommend post-operative massages starting the next day following the operation.
