Dr. Loessin Owes Me Nothing!!

First of all, you will never see the personalized care at a surgery clinic like CG versus a private practice. I think some people have an unrealistic expectation of what having surgery at a clinic like this really looks like. Second…this is going to be long, because when I was searching and researching I wanted to hear EVERYTHING. The good and the bad. I wanted details, not just miserable whining without an explanation, so I’ll do my best here to be thorough. Third…I gave CG four stars because of their general practice, not for my surgeon’s work, which to me is fantastic! I went in expecting to not be impressed with the pre-op process and I was not disappointed. The clinic is a revolving door of bodies. The clinic staff was pleasant enough, but not super warm or welcoming. I felt like a number the entire time I dealt with the staff and clinic. Their communication is horrible. Do not expect timely responses to your calls or emails or texts, if you get them at all. Expect them to be chattering away to each other, and rushing you through the pre-op steps like your cattle. Again, I fully expected this so I was not shocked or surprised. I highly recommend you get to Miami the day before your pre-op and get to the clinic as early as possible. It’s a first come, first serve situation. I got there just as they opened the doors and I was out of there in less than two hours. I have heard stories of dolls getting in later after their flights and waiting all day for their pre-op appt. They’ll tell you it’s at 8am, but it’s at 8am for everyone else too, so you want to be signed in early. You cannot have anyone with you and they don’t want your luggage there either. Bring water and snacks if you get there late. They do have a vending machine. Pre-op consisted of buying your post-op supplies (cash only), signing paperwork, Covid test, and photos. I wasn’t really prepared for this when the girl preparing my paperwork to sign without so much as a smile ordered me to get naked in her tiny closet of an office. Just like that…remove all your clothing…and out came the a camera. No gown, no robe, just me standing against the door with my pants around my ankles and a little bit shocked. After that Dr. Loessin came in for a meet n greet and to discuss the surgery and answer any questions. Pleasant man, not overly friendly but made eye contact, smiled, and I did feel he was listening/engaged. Surgery day, you go to a completely different side of the same building. They didn’t tell me that I ended up standing outside at 630am panicking a little because the main office was closed. Upset that bit of information was missed, but whatever, they called me and I found it. Have your companion with you, it’s required so they know you have one and to give them your prescriptions to pick up. Immediately before surgery they put me in a little room with a bed in it, in did my drug test and they started my IV. The anesthesiologist came in, he was very nice and friendly. Dr. Loessin came in and marked me up. Answered my last minute questions then it was time to go! Everyone was nice and friendly in the OR. Next thing I know I’m waking up. I get nauseous and anesthesia kindly gave me more nausea medicine but they are not trying to have you camp out, lol! As soon as I stopped throwing up they were getting me dressed and putting me in a wheelchair. They wheeled me out to my partner who they had already called, helped me into the car, and that was that! The post-op appointments were laughable. I’m an RN of 19+ years and they did nothing during post-op that made me feel it was worth the time and energy to be there. I know they need to check for complications but it was literally a 5 minute exam after waiting in the waiting area for an hour. They do postop like they do preop, the tiny waiting room is full of dolls and they just call you when they call you, doesn’t matter what time you appt was for. You do not see the doctor ever again, it was a nurse practitioner. The massages were even worse, I had to sit up while in fresh surgical pain and discomfort and this lady rubbed her hands on my stomach for about 15 minutes and that was it. I was not happy I paid for that. I later found a massage place and had real lymphatic massage while laid back and it was SO much better! NOW ALL OF THAT BEING SAID…..Dr. Loessin owes me NOTHING!!! I am so pleased with my results, just over the moon THRILLED. My breasts before were so heavy and pendulous that I had permanent dents in my shoulders. I could never go braless because it was so uncomfortable to have them hanging. Dr. Loessin asked me what I wanted and I said I didn’t want small breasts, I wanted to try and retain as much volume as possible, and I was worried I would lose fullness on top and they wouldn’t be perky. Well…. The man delivered! I am a full D/DD and they are so perky and well shaped! I don’t have to wear a bra once I fully heal if I don’t want to!!! I’m in love with them and the breasts were my biggest concern! The rest speaks for itself in the pictures. I am beyond thrilled with my stomach, belly button, everything. Overall, my experience at CG was positive, and I would go back and do it again.

I Got What I Paid for

I recently had a procedure at CG. I was lucky enough to have a very attentive coordinator. Sophia Culbreth was excellent. She always responded to emails or calls to answer questions and even followed up to check on me after the procedure. The day of surgery she came out and spoke to my husband which was an added comfort. I plan to schedule another procedure in 6 months. Customer service goes a long way and Sofia is definitely the epitome of Phenomenal support for the facility. Dr. Loessin was very direct. I like that. He honored my wishes and delivered what I paid for.

Very organized place - it was fast, efficient, and easy

This is honestly a good and very very organized and advanced place to get your surgery done. I had Dr. Freiman and he is an expert just show him what you want! The staff are kind and highly strategized. It was fast, efficient, and easy! They will schedule your pre op and your post op for you! Everyone has a card for you so you can reach out!!! And they respond constantly and rapidly!!

Mostly happy with my results, but I was hoping to look better

I had a ETT, breast Lift, Lipo to flanks. I met the Dr the morning of surgery, he spent maybe 10 minutes with me. He marked me up, talked me out of breast implants, changed my paperwork and sent me into surgery. I woke up from surgery in some pain, they gave me nothing for that at the facility. They had given my husband a prescription to fill while I was in surgery. After I woke up, they sent me on my way. I go in the next day for follow up. And then go in again a week later. That was the last communication I have had with them. I am mostly happy with my results, but the top on my scar is lumpy. I am hopeful that it will flatten out with time. While I am mostly happy with my results, I was hoping to look better. You get what you pay for

Flat stomach, perfect boobs - worth all the pain, frustration

I heard about CG on Instagram and had been following them for a couple of years before finally deciding to go through with getting a new body. I scheduled and paid for the surgery a few months in advance because I had just had a baby and they said I had to wait at least 6 months from giving birth to get it done. I flew into Miami two dats before my scheduled pre-op appointment. The night before my appointment I received a group text message asking to confirm that I would be at my appointment the next day. There wasn’t a time listed and I had never been given a time, so I spent the day trying to contact my coordinator and also calling the office. I never got through to anyone so I figured I would just go at 9 when their office opened (according to Google). I arrived at 8:40am (on a Tuesday) for the pre-op appointment. The door was locked but a security guard opened it and asked my name. I told him and he let me in. There were 4 ladies waiting in the lobby. I went to the desk and was given a clipboard that had paperwork like a regular Dr appt would and then I was given a list of items you may need and how much they cost. You then have to show them the actual card that you used to pay for surgery, which sucked for me because I used 3 different cards (one for my mommy makeover, one for my bbl that will be done in Aug, and one for the extra $1500 I paid to get Dr. Loessin because I liked his results the best out of all the drs at CG). I no longer have two of the cards (I paid last year) but I brought the bank statements from the month that I paid for the surgeries. They accepted them with no problem, even put the bbl one on file so I don't have to worry about bringing it next time. I signed several forms and then went in for my Covid test and blood pressure. They also took height and weight. The Covid test is a blood test so they pricked my finger. I was then called in to take my before pics and go over my medical clearance. The lady then gave me my instructions for surgery. I was finished and leaving CG by 10:45 am. Someone from CG called me at 3pm said that my surgery will be at 9 am so I was not to eat or drink anything after 9pm that night. I arrived with my companion at 8:20, and was told to go to the side of the building to a different door. (*Side note: Parking is hard to find and they charge a $300 late fee if you aren’t at least 30 min early.) They gave my husband my prescription and took down his phone number. (He needed my ID to pick up the prescription.) I was brought inside (they keep it VERY cold) and they took me to a room with a bed, nightstand and chair. I changed into a paper gown with the front open and was given a small styrofoam cup. The nurse led me to the bathroom to pee in the cup for a drug test. I returned to room and she poured the urine into the testing cup. I put my belongings in a plastic hospital bag with my name on it. Another nurse came in at 9:05 to start my iv fluids (in my hand, very uncomfortable). The dr came in at 9:15 and marked me up. He asked about medical issues and what size implants I would like. He suggested 450 cc so I went with that. He said I will have two drains in when I leave and they will be removed after a week. He was in and out in about 5 minutes but was friendly and willing to answer any questions. The anesthesiologist came in around 9:55 and asked about my medical history/smoking etc. He said it would be 20-30 minutes before they start the surgery. I accidentally ripped my gown but luckily there was more in the second drawer of the nightstand so I didn’t have to call a nurse for a new one. I was taken back for surgery around 10:15am. I layed down on the table and had my arms out so he could hook up the iv to the medication and take my blood pressure on the other arm. He put an oxygen mask on me and told me to take slow deep breaths. The medicine burned pretty bad when it started coming through the iv, but I was asleep in less than 15 seconds. I woke up in the recovery area just outside the operating room door and was covered up with a warm blanket. The clock said 1:20. I was still very groggy but not in much pain at all. About ten minutes later they asked if I thought I could get up because my companion (husband) was waiting outside. I said yes and they put me in a wheel chair and took me to the car. They give you prescriptions for antibiotics, pain meds (Percocet 5/325 acetaminophen), muscle relaxers (cyclobenzaprine) and nausea meds (ondansetron). I was in pretty bad pain (a 15 on a scale from 1-10) so I took a pain pill. It didn't seem to work so I took another one like 20 minutes later. I couldn’t stand all the way up so when I would walk it had to be slow and hunched over. I had been doing little things here and there but I couldn’t bend over and had a hard time getting up and down when I would sit. I didn’t really want to eat much, but I made sure I was taking my meds and drinking water. (Side note: I had gotten the tummy tuck and implants at the same time, but I had very little pain from the implants. I’m not sure if it’s because the other pain was so bad but they never really hurt throughout my entire recovery.) Anyway, they told me before surgery that I would have a follow up appointment the next day (Thursday) and they would call me later to let me know what time. They never called and I tried to call them several times before they closed and no matter which option I chose, no one answered. I got a phone call and a text simultaneously the next morning around 8. They said my appointment would be at 9 am. I arrived at 8:50, with just barely enough time to get to the office because they failed to inform me that this appointment would be in a different suite on the 7th floor. Again, there was a security guard outside the door checking names before letting you in. The waiting room was tiny with 11 chairs spread around and nine people were waiting. When I was finally called back (after about an hour) they had me open my shirt and pull my pants down. They took a quick photo for their records and then emptied my drains. They said my drains would be looked at next Wednesday and if they were ready they would be removed. They recommended that I get an iv therapy treatment that costs $160. I bought the three pack of massages for $150 (1 massage is $70) and I had the first one right then. I waited about 25 more minutes before being called to the back for the massage. They then sat me in a chair in the hallway for 20 more minutes. I was finally called into the massage room. There were 2 or 3 beds sectioned off with curtains. The massage therapist told me to unbutton my shirt and pull my pants down to my knees then sit in the chair. She put some sort of gel on my stomach and rubbed it around, focusing a lot on the hip area (which really hurt). I recommend taking a pain pill before the massage appointments. She was finished in about 15 minutes and I felt a little better after the massage even though it was painful. She said I could bring Arnica gel to my next appointment and it would help with the pain and bruising. They scheduled me for another massage the next day (Friday) and then on Monday as well. I left about 2 hours after my arrival. I didn’t know to get my parking ticket validated so I ended up paying $30 for parking (its a flat fee no matter how long you stay). I won’t make that mistake again. When I arrived the next day for my second massage, there were already about 12 women waiting in the tiny waiting room. I got there at 12:55 for a 1:00 appointment. I signed in and paid for the iv treatment that they had previously recommended for me. They said the iv takes about 30 min (which was not accurate). They called me to the back at exactly 2:00, and the same lady from the day before did my massage. Her name is Aylin (pronounced like Eileen) and I highly recommend her. She was very gentle but also made sure she was pushing any leftover fluid out. The massage lasts about ten to fifteen minutes. I had brought the Arnica gel and she was right, it helped a lot. I went back to the waiting room to wait for them to call me back for the iv therapy. That was at 2:20. I finally got called back for the IV therapy at 3:55. I was considering rescheduling because I had been waiting so long but I wanted to get it over with. They took me to a room and put the IV in my arm and started the fluids. I asked a few questions while I had the nurse there. She told me to drink pedialyte or Gatorade but preferably pedialyte. I asked her how long it would take to be able to go to the bathroom and if there was anything I could do to help with that. She said keep taking stool softeners daily and to stop taking the Percocet as soon as possible because that is what makes you constipated. She said if possible just take the muscle relaxers with 2 extra strength Tylenols. The IV therapy took about an hour, and I was feeling really good about 2 hours later. I started feeling better over the next few days, mostly because I took the nurse’s advice and stopped taking the pain medicine. When I needed something I took what she had suggested and it worked nearly as well as the narcotic meds. I did go to Walgreens and get some Senokot for constipation just to be proactive. I took two before bed and two more the next morning and by lunch I had been able to use the bathroom. I walked as much as possible and by days 3 and 4 I was able to stand up straighter. That really helped because most of my pain was in my lower back from not standing up straight. I got through the weekend and went back for my third massage on Monday. I had to wait about 45 minutes to an hour, and the waiting room was full the entire time. Me and a few other girls who had mmo’s took turns sitting so that none of us had to stand for too long. There were a lot of complaints during the time in the waiting room. Some girls were unhappy with their breast size and said that they weren’t really given a choice as to how big their implants were. A few of the bbl girls felt like their results were barely noticeable. The bbl ladies seemed to be in a lot more pain that the mmo ladies, which I found surprising and also scary because I have one scheduled for this summer. One other thing I learned during my time in that waiting room was that everyone was not given the same meds. Some were given tramadol or something else for pain, some didn’t get the same muscle relaxer as me and some were not given the nausea meds. My last visit would be Wednesday, exactly one week from my surgery date. I arrived 2 hours early that day hoping to be seen early because my left drainage hole was bothering me. The office was full and I was told that I would have to come back at my appointment time. I came back about 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and had to wait an hour and twenty minutes to be seen. The nurse had me undress and began taking off the tape under my breasts. She then removed the tape from my incision. I could see a small area on the incision that was pink and gooey. She said it was a blister from the tape and put antibiotic ointment on it. That entire area had been numb since the surgery so it didn’t hurt. I did notice that I had another blister under my left arm right where the tape started and that one hurt pretty bad. I hadn’t felt it until the tape was removed but it felt like a cut. She cleaned the incision areas and removed all of the stitches except the ones in my belly button. After that she removed the drains. She had me take a deep breath before she pulled each one out. It didn’t hurt too bad but it was definitely an uncomfortable feeling. She suggested I get another massage and I was willing to do so, but they had no availability and I was flying out that night. I scheduled one for first thing the next morning with someone in my city. The trip home was rough. I had to walk a long distance in the airport and change planes once. The holes from the drains were basically left open so they were my main source of pain. The left one is put in farther than the right one for whatever reason so that one gave me a burning sensation and was more painful than the other. The plane rides were fine, but I was nervous about flying so soon after surgery (thanks a lot, Google)… so I made sure I kept moving my legs and feet throughout the flights. I’m happy it’s over and I have to say, my flat stomach and perfect boobs were worth all the pain and frustration. I’ll be going back in August to get my bbl and hopefully that will be a smoother experience now that I know more about what to expect. Since the surgery I’ve not been able to eat too much, especially things that are more starchy like bread and pasta. I don’t know if that’s a result of the surgery or just in my head, but either way I’m not complaining. This was definitely life changing for me and I want my results to be the best ones possible. I hope this super long narrative ends up being helpful to someone!

CG overall is horrible

I am currently 4 weeks post op with Dr. Desouza. I must say, my stomach isn’t exactly how I wanted my hip area to be (I wanted my love handles gone!) and my butt is still square towards the bottom which looks untouched completely; But all in all, he did a really great job. You only get to meet him 10 mins before your surgery, but he totally put me to ease.Him and the anesthesiologist seemed very knowledgeable and Dr. Desouza even apologized for the craziness that goes on with the staff. I would highly recommend him!! He is an expert In the natural look for sure. He doesn’t do the crazy round booties. Now with that said- the staff at CG is horrible. It is so disorganized, and post op is non-existent.First off, they do about 10 surgeries a day per doctor, so some surgeries are as late as 830p. Mine was at 5. Post op was just so they could take pics. They have you wait for over an hour less than 24 hrs after surgery. The massage lady was straight evil. She was aggravated and rude. She had me take off my faja (mind you still less than 24 hrs after surgery) and has a nurse cut open my stitches. She then proceeded to take a q-tip dipped in alcohol and shove it up the incision. She never warned me or talked me through the process, and it hurt so freaking bad. I left in way worse pain from her “massage” than I did entering. I did not return for more massages, and instead waited until I was home a week later to go to a certified lymphatic drainage masseuse. He has done wonders without opening a single incision! All in all, if De. Desouza went to a different practice I would definitely recommend him. If not, stay clear of CG. It will cost you about the same as going to a better facility anyhow. I highly recommend Body Arts in Philly if you are close to that area. Everything included for $8500 (faja, massages, cavitation, post op care) and those doctors only do one or two patients a day! Updated on 14 Aug 2021: Just wanted to post some updates as far as pictures. Currently 8 weeks PO. Butt still has sore feeling when I run or sit, but stomach swelling is much better. I barely wear my faja, about 8 hours a day. I still hate the under cup part of my butt, so I am considering round 2 to get that fixed. Updated on 22 Aug 2021: Some pics of the butt area as requested. The bottom inner corners, where my butt meets my thighs is my biggest complaint. It sags down and is not rounded at all. Dr. Desouza only put fat in the upper portion of my butt, towards the center and hip dips. I wish he added a little more to bring that area up and round it out. Updated on 23 Aug 2021: I am currently 9 weeks post op, almost 10. My butt looks crooked but it is not. It’s just the way I stand lol. I have a bad knee, so I put most of my weight on one side when I stand. I also naturally have a fuller butt and hips with a smaller waist prior to surgery. Hope this helps some of you! I couldn’t find much info prior to my surgery on De.Desouza.

Dr Carvalho is an artist

So I've been wanting this procedure since 2016. I've put down at least $3,500 in deposits since then and always backed out. This Time I'm ready lol. I am 26 years old. I am 5"3 and currently 148 pounds. I have a 6 year old. I hope to gain 10 pounds before surgery 4/15/21. I am currently taking a weight gain syrup (apetamin). I decided to get surgery because I've always been extremely skinny. In 2016 I went on a weight gain journey and went from 110 to 165. AND I LOVED IT. Now I need hips and a small waist. I've always been up and down (but I've always had boobs and small cute butt). I'm looking to get natural results with a bomb slim figure. I am sooooo excited. If any girls need weight gain tips just lmk. Also I am struggling with which Recovery home to stay with. Surgery is in Miami. So far everything has been great. I wanted a date in 2021 so I had to pay an extra fee. Which was fine with me. Instead of a $250 deposit I had to pay $1,000. Danielle is GREAT; very friendly and approachable. I am nervous because I've heard carvalho can have bad bed side manners but I'm much more concerned with his results Updated on 8 Apr 2021: Everything is PAID! I am sooooooo excited about this surgery. I've been wanting this for so long and IT IS HAPPENING. I've decided to stay at Joyful Recovery for post Op care. So far everyone seem nice, HOWEVER, I had to change my dates and I still haven't receive a confirmation email on that. They've taken my $200 deposit so I hope everything is ok. I haven't bought my flight to Miami yet. But I have bought my return flight. I decided to fly home first class. I just want the extra room and privacy. I haven't bought any supplies besides compression socks and bra lol. Pleaseeee give me advice or a list of things to bring. Also follow my surgery Instagram page. Carvalhodoll2021. I want you all to see my entire journey, I'll be as open as possible so I can be helpful during your journey. Updated on 19 Apr 2021: I met a doll yesterday and her results were PERFECT. She was small like me but looked very thick. I asked her what did she tell them so that she was proportionate and she said she got fat transferred to he outer thighs. Have y'all ever heard of that? Is it worth it? Updated on 9 May 2021: I am two weeks pre op. I am so excited to be having my surgery with Carvalho. I have officially stopped my weight gain. Leaving me at 160 pounds. I am so excited. I will add more before pics on here. I'll try to keep this app as up to date as possible.  Updated on 4 Jun 2021: I am 100% satisfied with my results. I did not bring any wish pics. All I told him was I wanted to have a nice shape and HE DELIVERED! He completely flattened my stomach (and I have a kid). My hips are amazing, perfect for my figure. And my butt is so round and cute. It's big but the perfect amount of big. He was amazing. He came in and got straight to the point. He answered all my questions and was very approachable. I have plenty of before and after pics on my Instagram @ carvalhodoll2021. Comment and ask any questions Updated on 4 Jun 2021: I had surgery 5/21/21 at cg cosmetics. THIS REVIEW IS ONLY OF CG NOT MY SURGEON. He facility was very up to date and clean. All the staff was nice and well groomed. The process for pre op was easy and well organized. I was at my pre op appointment for about 3 hours (which I expected). Everything at the facility is paid in cash, bring extra cash just in case. You will need to buy your garments and pay any remaining balances in cash. Also any test or assessments must also be paid in cash. If you lost your form of payment be sure to have a mobile bank log in. You may also bring it in person if you have it. The day of surgery be on time and wear loose clothing. I suggest button up dress and slide in shoes. If u have insurance bring it with you your medications might be covered (mine were). The staff rushes you into a wheel chair soon as you wake up from surgery. I had no complaints about this facility. I felt safe, and welcomed. Updated on 26 Jul 2021: I am 9 weeks post op and I am starting to feel normal FINALLY! I am 150% satisfied with my results. It came out better than I thought it would. My waist is 27 inches and my hips are 41. I’m still not sitting or laying on my back. I’ll add some post op pics on here but be sure to follow my Instagram “CARVALHODOLL2021” for better updates

Office review: Exceptional Customer Service

Judith the supervisor is awesome I had an issue with my surgery date that one of the coordinators messed up. BBL By CG Cosmetic Surgery Center

This experience was mixed. Dr.Potparik did an amazing job with my BBL. He is a brutally honest dr. But I preferred that. I could never reach an intake coordinator . Judith was not a nice lady she gives the office an evil vibe. She’s in it for the money and has zero compassion for the patients. The most nurturing person by far was Evelyn, I believe she’s their biggest asset. She cared for me when I needed it the most. The girls were very nice at the desk, Aniuska,Ari, and Mayelin. If they tweaked a few staff members the place would be top notch!
