Dr. Cohen is one of the best surgeons for tuberous breast correction, and I can't recommend him highly enough!! I flew out specifically to see him, and I am SO glad that I did. This is a notoriously difficult surgery to get right, and he did an amazing job on my boobs.

I have had a lifelong insecurity about my boobs, I am 37 years old and finally had the resources to get a correction. After doing countless hours of research, I found Dr. Cohen and was impressed by his extensive photo collection of successful correction procedures with tuberous breast patients. I was nervous about getting an anchor lift, but he convinced me that it would produce the best outcome for the overall shape. He (unlike other surgeons I spoke to) was honest with me about the risks associated with implants, which I ultimately decided not to get.

Upon the recommendation of Dr. Cohen, I got liposuction of bra fat under my armpits and an anchor lift. The surgery went smoothly, and my boobs are looking great and I am SO happy with the result. I always felt extremely self-conscious about my breasts, and now I feel confident and happy and I smile when I see myself in front of the mirror. Yes, there are scars, but they will fade with time.

There are only a few surgeons who actually demonstrate this level of skill to produce a result this good (I have seen too many botched surgery photos from other surgeons on RealSelf and Reddit tuberous breast community!)

Aside from his obvious skill, he has an excellent bedside manner and he genuinely really wants to help people. I spoke with several other surgeons who were not as honest and trustworthy as he is.

If I were to get any future surgeries I would absolutely not hesitate to see Dr. Cohen again; worth every penny, best decision of my life!!!!!

At the age of 17, after a severe pedestrian vs. car accident, I had breast implants placed to address asymmetry caused by skin grafts. At the time, I was an uneducated teenager who didn’t research surgeons. I ended up with implants that were too large and that I hated almost immediately.

After 21 years, two children, and ongoing physical discomfort from the weight of the implants, I was ready to explant.

Explant can be intimidating, as you’re unsure about how much tissue you’ll have left or what the results will be. For me, the added complexity of skin grafts and asymmetry made it even more daunting. I knew I needed to find the best surgeon possible to ensure I was happy with my results and that this would be my last breast surgery.

I spent years researching surgeons, and although I always knew Dr. Robert Cohen was my top choice, I consulted with a few others. One surgeon warned that my skin grafts could result in severe asymmetry, and that the graft could even die. In contrast, Dr. Cohen’s consultation was reassuring. He simply asked if my grafts were soft and pliable, and when I confirmed, he confidently stated that he could achieve the results I desired. His expertise and confidence gave me complete trust in my decision.

Choosing Dr. Cohen was easy. I had followed his work for years and knew he was highly skilled, with a consistent track record of excellent outcomes. I trusted him to deliver the best results, and choosing him eliminated any stress or worry I had about my aesthetic outcome.

Dr. Cohen was professional, confident, and direct. Two months before surgery, he drained my saline implants in a quick, painless procedure that gave me time to adjust to a smaller chest and get excited for the breast lift.

Immediately after surgery, I was thrilled with the results. My breasts were round, perky, and natural-looking, with well-placed incisions that blended seamlessly with the curves of my body. Recovery was smooth, with minimal pain and no drains (unlike most explant patients). I had no complications, minimal bruising, and received excellent care and follow up from the nurses.

The anesthesiologist, also Dr. Cohen, took the time to reassure me before surgery, which made me feel much more at ease. I’m grateful for his kindness.

Dr. Cohen’s staff was incredibly helpful and supportive, answering all my questions and guiding me every step of the way (special thanks to Laura).

I feel lighter, look thinner, and my clothes fit better than ever. My breasts are fuller and more beautiful than I imagined—several friends have even commented that they look like smaller implants. I want to start by saying that I’ve never written a review for anyone or anything before, but my experience with Dr. Robert Cohen absolutely warrants one.
Dr. Cohen performed my breast augmentation, which was my first surgery ever. I had never been under anesthesia, had an IV, or even received stitches before, so you can imagine how nervous I was. It took me years to reach the decision to go through with this elective surgery.
During my consultation, Dr. Cohen was honest and direct, while also taking the time to truly listen to my desires. I never felt rushed; his bedside manner was genuinely warm and comforting. In addition to the implants, I also underwent a circumareolar breast lift, which turned out to be more involved than I initially anticipated. Dr. Cohen explained the necessity of the lift to achieve the natural results I desired, and I’m so glad I followed his advice.
I do not write these words lightly. From my first consultation to my final post-op appointment, I felt safe, heard, and confident in Dr. Cohen’s care. His work is impeccable; my results look natural, my scars are seamless and barely visible. My friends have remarked in awe of my new aesthetic.

Could not be happier with my results from Dr. Cohen! From the initial consultation to surgery and post-op he explained everything so thoroughly and really made me feel at ease and comfortable. I was very concerned with having a natural result and I got exactly that! The entire team- Shayla, Caitlyn, all the staff are amazing and so kind and helpful. Dr. Cohan and his staff are so amazing. His bedside manner and the fact that he listened to all of my history of complications was evident at my consultation. I have had my fair share of consultations and surgeries so my fair and honest review should hold weight.

Dr Cohen is one of the BEST out there! I had a ruptured implant from my first augmentation 11 years ago and was referred to Dr Cohen by a friend in the business. My augmentation is better than the first one, and I can honestly say I completely trust Dr Cohen! When looking for a doctor, trust is the #1 priority. You need to trust that they know what they are doing and will honor what you're looking for. You can, without a doubt, completely trust that you are in good hands with Dr Cohen. He knows what he is doing with 19 years under his belt, never overdoes it, and is always clear about your options. I am SOOO happy with my results, and I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr Cohen. I HIGHLY recommend him if you're looking for one of LA's top breast augmentation doctors.
