Beast Lift (W Fat Graft), Extended TT, Lipo
WORTH IT
My consult with Dr. Cohen was the first that didn’t cause me to leave in a panic. He is calm, measured, kind, professional, and communicative. I wanted natural results, not an aggressive surgery. I had a lot of loose skin as a result of weight loss (no pregnancies). Dr. Cohen understood what it was that I wanted to achieve with these procedures, and as a bonus he was knowledgeable and understanding about my connective tissue disorder, which effects my skin laxity, healing and scarring.
I felt very taken care of through each step of the process, especially with the help of the entire staff, including Shayla who answered every question and made it all happen smoothly.
For those of you about to embark on this journey, here are the things I found essential:
-aura aftercare immediately after surgery
-wedge pillows at home!!
-lymphatic massage (the swelling is extreme)
-cough drops on hand (it really hurts to cough or sneeze for the first week)
-medical recliner was somewhat helpful but not strictly necessary
-baby wipes
-if you don’t have someone to reach for things for you, a grabber or a step stool helps
-crocs (if your feet get swollen and you have poor circulation like I do)
-Fleet enema because painkillers will cause constipation
-sitcom to binge :)
