The patient underwent Mohs surgery to remove a skin cancer of the right nose. Unfortunately a sizable defect involving a large through-and-through defect of the nose (see cotton ball placement) was necessary to remove all cancer. The patient underwent a staged reconstruction with complete restoration of the nose.
