This is a young gentleman who had gynecomastia (male enlargement of breasts). We performed liposuction and direct excision of his gland by making a small incision around his areola. Gynecomastia or male breast reduction corrects the over-developed or enlarged breasts of men. Breast Reduction is done under general anesthesia. Incisions are made around the pigmented area (the nipple areolar complex) and extend vertically below the nipple and in the fold under the breast. The nipple areolar complex is moved upward to the desired location, while excess breast tissue, skin, and fat are removed.
