This patient had a Mini face lift with CO2 laser resurfacing to her peri-oral (around the mouth) and periorbital (lower eyelids) areas.

65-74 year old woman treated with Mini Lift

This active middle-aged woman presented to our Center with the concerns of heaviness in her upper eyelids, thinning of her midface/cheeks, and mild drooping of her jawline. She stated that she looked tired and sad all of the time due to the overall deflation of most of her face.Her initial exam revealed significantly hooded eyelids to the point where no part of her lid could be seen, deflation of her cheek pads, and mild laxity(looseness) of her lower 1/3 of her face including the jawline.We decided together that the proper plan of action to address her needs would be to perform an upper blepharoplasty, a jawline lift, and to augment her cheeks with her own fat (autologous fat transfer from fat from her abdomen).Under local anesthesia and oral sedation with xanax (no IV or General Anesthesia was needed), all three procedures were performed in one sitting in under 3 hours time.Her results demonstrate significant, and natural, opening of her eyelids, increased volume in her cheeks, and a sharpened and tighter jawline. She was able to return to full/normal activity after 10 days.

	This patient came to the office looking to tighten up the sagging skin of her neck and jowl. Using a sub-SMAS Minilift, Dr. Balikian was able to sharpen the neck line, redfine the jawline and soften the marriontte lines. Note the imperceptable incision tucked in behind the ear cartilages.


Facelift

This well-aging woman presented with the concerns of moderate jowling in her jawline, along with excessive skin over her eyelids. She stated that both of these made her appearance older than she was. She had attempted botox and fillers on more than one occasion and did not see any significant improvements. She consulted with our Center with hopes of a more definitive solution without significant downtime.After examination, we agreed that the best treatments would be a mini-jawline lift with an upper blepharoplasty. Both procedures were performed on the same day with oral sedation with xanax and local anesthesia. No IV or General anesthesia was utilized. Total procedure time for both procedures was under 2 hours. All sutures were removed 6 days after the procedure. She was able to return to work and exercise 7 days after her procedure.Her results demonstrate a more defined, and still natural, jawline along with increased show of her upper eyelids.

This patient was concerned with the beginning of the aging signs - slight skin laxity in the lower face and neck area. She was treated with a mini face and neck lift procedure to achieve a defined jawline profile and get rid of the lax skin under the chin.

This patient had a necklift to treat jowls, loose skin and muscle in her neck. I did a necklift tightening up the lower SMAS as well. For the necklift I used an incision under the chin to tighten her neck muscle called the platysma. This technique is called a corset platysmaplasty. I also tightened the muscle laterally using a technique called a lateral platysmal window. Extra skin was removed using incision behind her ears and in her posterior hairline.
