Incisions are made around the pigmented area (the nipple areolar complex) and extend vertically below the nipple and in the fold under the breast. The nipple areolar complex is moved upward to the desired location, while excess breast tissue, skin, and fat are removed.

Gynecomastia procedure on 22 year old patient

This patient is a 29-year-old male who presented to my Scottsdale office with complaints of excess fullness in the chest consistent with gynecomastia. He also had lateral chest fullness as well. I recommended a bilateral correction of gynecomastia with power-assisted liposuction and direct glandular tissue resection as well as power-assisted liposuction of lateral chest.In surgery I performed this combination of surgery which included over 50 grams of glandular tissue removal per side. After surgery the patient was verry happy with his flatter, more masculine appearing chest and he reported a significant boost in his self-confidence.

	This 22 year old male complained that his breasts were too large and feminine. His chest is flatter and more masculine after power-assisted liposuction for his gynecomastia.
