My patient - pictured here - is a perfect example of the subtle results of the impactful transformation a brow lift paired with eyelid surgery can make in reducing the signs of aging. This well-aging woman presented with the concerns of moderate jowling in her jawline, along with excessive skin over her eyelids. She stated that both of these made her appearance older than she was. She had attempted botox and fillers on more than one occasion and did not see any significant improvements. She consulted with our Center with hopes of a more definitive solution without significant downtime.After examination, we agreed that the best treatments would be a mini-jawline lift with an upper blepharoplasty. Both procedures were performed on the same day with oral sedation with xanax and local anesthesia. No IV or General anesthesia was utilized. Total procedure time for both procedures was under 2 hours. All sutures were removed 6 days after the procedure. She was able to return to work and exercise 7 days after her procedure.Her results demonstrate a more defined, and still natural, jawline along with increased show of her upper eyelids.
