Patient had a permanent brown stain on the side of her front tooth, along with yellow staining of her other teeth. After one appointment with Dr. Thompson, the stain was removed and replaced with dental bonding. This bonding was also used to make her teeth whiter. In the short term, bonding is a cheaper alternative to porcelain veneers, but over time, bonding will easily stain and need to be redone. Over the long term, veneers are the better alternative because they can last a lifetime and are very stain resistant.
