Port wine stain treatments

This is a realistic outcome after 6-8 sessions of V BEAM vascular laser. Red birthmarks such as port wine stains, AV malformations, stork marks, cherry angiomas, and even rosacea can be treated with vascular lasers and light based systems. I use an array of wavelengths depending on the type and depth of the red birthmark. Most cases respond nicely to Pulse Dye Laser using the V BEAM at 595nm. Some patients may need 2-3 sessions, but most will require over half a dozen. I like to space my laser treatments 2-4 months apart. Treatments are well tolerated and take only a few minutes to perform. Recovery is usually within one week following birthmark laser treatments.
