This patient is seen 17 years after undergoing breast augmentation with silicone implants. Over the course of time she had developed capsular contractures, capsular distortion, and capsular pain. The implant volume also no longer suited her as she had gained weight and breast tissue volume in the years following her surgery. In her after photo, she is seen 5 months after her implant removal and breast-lift (mastopexy) surgery. Embrace Scar Therapy was used during her recovery to help keep scarring minimal.
