This 29 year old patient had concerns regarding her small breasts. She wanted to be fuller and did not want implants or any scars on her breast. She, therefore, underwent natural breast augmentation with autologous fat grafts and is seen 4 months after her procedure. There is no implant that will ever have to be removed! The patient's own fat was harvested in a way that maximizes its survival to then be placed within the tissue surrounding the breast, after which, fat is allowed to acquire a new blood supply which then allows it to survive - when this occurs, the fat then has the potential to last a lifetime. At four months, the breasts are soft, supple and totally natural without any lumps or bumps or irregularities and since there is no implant, it will never have to be removed or acquire any of the problems of a breast implant. In addition, unlike an implant which can move and cause implant deformities, fat can be place anywhere to fill in areas that an implant can never reach to create a contour that matches the breast beautifully. She went from an A cup to her desired C cup and has maintained excellent size, shape, and proportion to yield a wonderful feminine contour. And, only small, minute 1/16th inch scars under the breast which were used to place the fat grafts exist. A larger volume could have been obtained, but the patient did not want to use BRAVA expansion; however, should she ever decide to become larger, she will always have that option. A more youthful and shapely breast has been achieved and this patient is ecstatic about her natural look and proportion - A look that beckons the turn of the head without betraying the hand of the surgeon...
