Featured is an upper and lower blepharoplasty performed on my wonderful patient. This procedure is designed to restore contour and elevate sagging muscle without making the eyes look rounded or smaller. For many patients, drooping and/or excess skin around the eyes can be an inherited trait.

Upper eyelid blepharoplasty. She had significant hanging skin over her upper eyelids and lashes, more so on her right side. She now has a crisp upper eyelid fold.

Upper Eyelid Surgery - Age 65-74

Lower eyelid bags are the most common reason patients seek cosmetic improvement in this region. In-office procedure under local anesthesia offers quicker recovery without the immediate postoperative side effects of general anesthesia.
