This woman was dissatisfied with her buttock shape and overall proportions. She had a straight, boxy contour in the waist, lower back and love handle region in addition to a flat buttock area. She desired better waist definition, more of an hourglass shape, and a fuller, rounder buttock contour. She was treated with extensive liposuction contouring of all of these areas including the abdomen. Fat was transferred to the buttock and hip-dip areas, aiming to create a significant but still natural change.

This 50 year-old woman is very physically active and maintains a healthy lifestyle. After pregnancy and passage of time she lost volume in her buttock region and developed a flatter shape with poor definition. Her goal was to improve the shape and proportion of this area but still maintain a natural, tasteful appearance. She elected to proceed with a Brazilian Buttock lift, with liposuction performed to the abdomen, waist, lower back and love handles. The fat was purified in the operating room and transferred to the mid and upper buttock region. Approximately 500cc of fat was transferred to each side, achieving a rounder, fuller, and more youthful appearance.

Fat transferred from the flanks to the buttock enhancing the curve of the waist and adding fullness and roundness to the shape of the buttocks. The fat that is removed is just as important as the fat that is grafted in achieving this goal.
