This is a 54 year old woman diagnosed with LCIS, a condition that increases her risk of developing breast cancer significantly throughout her life. She opted to do prophylactic mastectomies to prevent breast cancer development in the future. We proceeded with immediate reconstruction with tissue expanders. These expanders were replaced about 4 months later with implants. She is now about three months out from her last surgery.
