    PDT or photodynamic therapy is an excellent method to treat sun damage as it reduces pre cancerous cells. This treatment uses Metvix and red light to activate chemical within precancerous areas. Heal up times are within one week. Consider PDT if you have extensive sun damage and can not afford the down time of Efudix treatment.
