We performed revision rhinoplasty to produce a more desirable shape, and this also significantly improved her nasal breathing. She felt that the external portion nostril was too big and the bottom edge of this tissue was too flat relative to the other side. If you look at the post-operative photos, youll notice that the curved contour of the bottom edge of the nostril on the right more closely matches the untreated left side.

A complex revision rhinoplasty was performed on this 25 year old woman who was extremely unhappy with her crooked rhinoplasty result performed by another surgeon. The patient's nose and septum were straightened using several surgical techniques including spreader grafting to the nasal dorsum. The result is a straight nose with a beautifully defined and symmetric nasal tip.

This patient who had undergone a previous rhinoplasty was seeking to refine the tip and narrow the nose. She was not concerned about her profile view. She was noted to have thicker nasal skin. She was found intra-operatively to have had previous de-fatting of the skin and tip cartilage reduction. Given her thick skin, she needed strong tip cartilage support to create refinements. Revision rhinoplasty techniques included caudal septal extension graft and tip only graft using cartilage from the septum.

This is a 19 year-old male who is 63 tall. He presented to discuss improvements to his nose. He has had two previous rhinoplasty procedures. His initial rhinoplasty was to improve a large dorsal hump, make improvements to his nasal tip, and correct his septum for airway obstruction. The second surgery was to make revisions. He was still bothered by a prominent dorsum with a noticeable right-sided prominence. Therefore, a rhinoplasty was performed with a dorsal hump reduction as well as refining the right-sided prominence. In addition, the nasal tip was refined with a cephalic trim. Osteotomies and nasal bone infracture was also performed to further improve positioning of his dorsum.

Dr. Holden performed a revision of this woman's rhinoplasty. He removed the hump, rotated it slightly and built support for the tip.

This 32 year woman underwent a revision rhinoplasty using a diced cartilage and fascia graft in order to reconstruct her nasal dorsum. A silicone implant that had been placed by another surgeon was removed and rib cartilage was used in its place. The 1 year result demonstrates a beautiful nasal profile created entirely from the patient's own tissue.

This is a 32 year old patient that had rhinoplasty at a different practice 10 years prior. She was unhappy with the general appearance and the long length of the tip.
