Basal cell carcinoma MOHs surgery - MOHs Reconstruction

This patient had a defect of the right side of her nose involving skin from removal of a skin cancer by her dermatologist. She underwent reconstruction with a local skin advancement flap from her cheek as well as stabilization and strengthening of the nasal sidewall with cartilage from her ear so that there would be no subsequent issues with nasal breathing. She is seen here at one month following the reconstruction.
