Im 5'10 268 pounds and i want to get a panniculectomy. My insurance covers it and i wanted to convince them that i need to get it done and i have hard time coping with my belly. Nothing fits clothes wise and its the only part of my body i cant loose weight on. I also started to have rushes under the fat. What can i say or do to be approved?
I'm a 28 year old male current weight around 380 (2+ yrs). My heaviest weight was well over 600 lbs. My quality of life is being greatly affected by a 8-10 inch section of fat hanging off my midsection. It interferes with my work, the gym, my physical health, and my mental health. I deal with BAD heat rashes and blisters all the time that get infected and make it painful to even get out of bed in the mornings. The mental side of it has been equally as hard for me. What are my options?
Ive lost 107 lbs without surgery and Im stuck with a lower belly that wont move. It hurts literally. Rashes that prescription meds arent helping, and its heavy that its hurting my legs when I run or walk a distance. Is it possible to have a panni with so much fat left? My weight doesnt bother me right now - just that lower belly. But it is a nuisance and Im tired of having to apply prescription powders and creams that dont work.
I am wearing a shirt but One breat is DD possibly larger and the otherB cup. Would Husky A Medicare insurance would cover either. As I get older do I have a rash and raw skin in the cleavage of my larger breast, under my belly sweats which causes itching and burning, this has had extreme emotional effects on me. I have not dated in close to a decade due to of insecurity.I don't even like to leave home.I have had lots of weight fluctuations two kids 1 c sec which made pannus worse
I have been to the dr so many time with back pain and rashes under breast and above my pelvic bone because of sagging breast and saggy abdominal skin. Im 51 and weigh 123 my breast are 36dd and are heavy. I dont know how to go about asking my insurance company to cover something like this.
I had a vertical sleeve done in June. My highest weight was 326, my surgery weight was 293 and i'm currently 254. I've been told a tummy tuck wouldn't be advisable because I still have 125 pounds to lose, but was wondering if a panniculectomy is possible because I still have a problem with the apron belly pulling down and throwing out my back and the rashes get painful if I forget baby powder. If it is possible now, will it affect my ability to get a tummy tuck in the future?
I am 6 days post op and wore the binder home that they gave me in hospital. I came home day two with 2 drains one fell out day 3 went in nurse (surgeon on holidays) removed other drain. Worn binder 24/7 but today took off as thighs were numb. Some edema in legs but had prior to surgery. No temp no soreness. can't find a case where someone has just had panniculetomy (no upper abdomen work no muscle tightening ). I am still overweight (around 220 pounds). Had surgery due to rashes and back pain
