Approximately 1 year ago I had a facelift, necklift and upper and blepharoplasty. At this time I still have numbness on the left side of my face from ear to mid-face. In addition, I also have puckering under my chin. Two questions is the numbness permanent and what can be done about puckering. From pictures you can see left side of chin below mouth doesnt move as much as right.
Hi, I had a facelift and neck lift, over a year ago. I have no complaints, however, l have a double chin. I didnt before. And its wide not just under the chin but under the jawline. It isnt dramatic but definitely noticeable enough as people ask. My surgeon suggested Retroplatismal resection of platysma muscle and thyroid suspension Is this standard after so much surgery
Im 66 years old, 1 year post op, I had midline platysmaplasty. At 3 months, (all pictures attached) I went back asking if we could do a revision. They suggested fraxel lasers and to come back for year consult. I have done 3 of the laser treatments, and went back for year end consultation. Surgeon said nothing more he can do, possibly revision in the future but not now.
Female 62. I had the surgery one year ago by a Cosmetic Surgeon (not a board certified plastic surgeon) outside of Richmond VA. I have a pulling sensation and cord on left neck. Started to become noticeable about 3-5 months post op. I did not have obvious platysmal bands prior to surgery. Also have noticeable facial depressions right side not left. What can be done to correct other than 2nd surgery? FYI See a board certified plastic surgeon close to home. U WILL need follow ups weeks later
I had a Coronal brow lift, a facelift and a neck lift with liposuction 14 months ago. I've been concerned about a raised scar under my chin and various lumps and bumps and banding in the neck area. My surgeon told me to let things heal naturally and that we would evaluate at one year. At my one year he said everything looked great and sent me on my way. I'm still not pleased with the results of my neck. Any ideas how to make this look better?
An expert PS I saw at 6 mos post op said at that point there wasn't enough skin to tuck my poorly placed ear scars, which are too far in front of and below each ear, into my ear contours. Will this still be a problem at 1 yr? Also, will the lumpy hypertrophic scars in back of my ears be easily fixed in a 2nd procedure? Will a new neck lift cause yet more problematic scars? Since the 1st procedure was a fail, I need to do over again anyway and I want these ugly scars hidden as much as possible.
Im 1 yr postop from botched necklift w/ bad hypertrophic scars placed too far in front of and below ears. Am doing revision in 3 more mos. My new PS said she can easily cut the scars out. But I am also seeing a thin white line which I was told is depigmented skin at the hairline behind my ears. The white is very unsightly. How can depigmented areas be treated? Can this be fully resolved? Also what is risk for hypertrophic scars and more depigmentation in revision surgery?
