My skin is dull, dry and darker where she completed the treatment. There are scabs near my nose which you can see in the pictures. It has been 3 days since the procedure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced.
After my third microdermabrasion session I have began getting very dry flaky skin peeling especially around the chin area, this includes redness, tight face blemishes and itchy skin. I did not have this problem after my first and second session as my skin always felt smooth after. It has been a week now and my skin is still feeling very sensitive. Is this normal? And how long usually will this affect go down? Are there any creams or remedies I can use to speed up the recovery?
I am currently using La Roche Posay Redermic-R. I have combination skin, with dry skin around the eyes. I would like any advice on cleansers, toners, moisturizers etc. Also, is there any way to incorporate microdermabrasion? Thanks.
I got a microdermabrasion last month and two weeks after the procedure, I noticed my face feeling extremely dry. I used bio oil, shea butter or some times olive oil, but a few hours later, it will feel dry again. The dryness went away but left me with discoloration around my lips and my face is still peeling slightly. Will the discoloration go away? Is it normal to still be peeling after a month of the procedure?
Went in for a microdermabasion session yesterday. My usual esthetician wasn't there so i had to get it done by a rookie. She was probably doing it wrong as it hurt. I had to ask her to stop midsession. Woke up with skin looking like this today. Skin never reacted this way to a microderm before. It is dry, flaky, and has a sheen like a plastic bag. Will this go away? Like peel off or something. I'm really worried.
